bananaWoodcote stakes

04 Jun 11 10:08
Mornin to the betfairians... after a look into the woodcote stakes at epsom today, i have drawn the conclusion that the market (as always) has it about right, an interesting jockey booking on Caspar Netscher who after an expected good run first time out seemed to struggle against the stiff ponterfract track on his next start? definate chance with the reliable murtagh aboard.
The favorite on the morning exchanges mark johnstones exceed and excel colt a half brother to baltic king out of a dam who loved fast ground so will appreciate the ground, finished nearly three lengths behind Casper last time so how the f*** they make it favorite only them who know, know Laugh number two on the card stan moore trained Evervescent a gelding by elnadim out of a grand lodge mare who was out of a half sister to idris a multiple winning group performer and having ran in a decent lookin maiden at goodwood first time won his next start over the distance at haydock, reports saying that he hung which may be off putting but was a slow slow time and maybe just when asked to win his race he was like... "slow slow quick quick...blimey wots going on..." improver definately. Cool
He's so cool the brock winner ran well at chester when coming from well behind to storm down the straight, a possible danger to all with the stable just starting to get going perhaps definately maybe bananabananabanana Laugh
nice1... the others no chance lol [;)]

The bananaSummit awaits

15 Jan 11 09:54
The day's are long and the night's will blow you away, well today, i am certainly hoping for one of those kinda evenings and if the revolutionaries and their new twenty seven million aquisition can put one over Mick Dingle today then i expect i will enjoy my evening all the more.
A positive display showing the table to be true to it's word as the away side shouldn't be capable of getting anything at the home of the number one contenders.
bananaPredicts ; four nil drubbing. Nice1.

bananaBlogging

A far tougher assignment than banana thought we would have and you have to heap praise on how Mr.Ericsson set his side up in the second half after going two one behind, they showed pace and were very attack minded, a good display against a strong city side.
City have got to get used to playing against the type of opposition who,will raise their game just to get one over on the team that are trying to 'buy' the league! Solid show from James Milner today and good to see him get his first goal.
City have to be strong mentally aswell as their physical attributes through the rest of their title winning campaign, looking forward to the replay, and i am hoping the foxes' come with the same attitude as they showed today.

Today sees the day that the Blue Revolution kick off with their cup campaign with an away trip Leicester, a big enough and, well paid squad should take care of the 'foxes' this afternoon comfortably ;
bananaPrediction ; city win 3-1
