I definitely make England heavily favoured here, as think they'll bowl WI out final day anyway, even if they don't get any bowling before that but I don't think that's where the trading equity is.

If anything I quite fancy a tickle more on the draw but I'm really not sure what's happening this evening.  Certainly they need to declare pretty soon to make it especially worthwhile. Root looks like he might be on for it but as I said earlier, that's how they ought to have been batting anyway.

Don't think England will be declaring tonight now, doesn't seem much point just to have 3-4 overs

Having gone this long you're looking at 10 minutes to get Burns to his ton, another 10 for changeover and then just 15 left. Agree.

Broad should be ahead of Anderson if they want one in to help the younger bowlers out

Best bowler out the 2 in my opinion

Broad set to reach 500 as well, not bad for an "average bowler" back in 2009 Tongue Out

By:
detraveller
When: 27 Jul 20 09:37
Old Trafford drainage is unbelievably good from what I remember from a few years ago. There was a lot of rain and by 3am there were a lot of puddles in the outfield. Rain stpped at 8am. They started on time.

Looking at rain radar it looks like the rain will pass over by 11 am.

so windies might have 180 overs to score 400 runs , just more than 2 runs an over,  Grin

When: 27 Jul 20 09:51
I am hoping that with some play today Windies pice shortens to about 100. I have backed them 260-280

3-1 looks a fair price, daughter lives about 3 miles from OT; just spoke to her and its still chucking it down.

elis, if you think this current WI team is capable of batting 180 overs in these conditions against current Eng bowlers, you need certifying, mate.

i thought the same as you detraveller, yesterday afternoon, that we might get play today and that 100s was massive then, and i did get some on at 95s, but them 2 wickets last nightCry , wonder what price windies would be with 150  overs and 10 wkts remaining to score the runs
By:
elisjohn
When: 27 Jul 20 10:11
of course i dontGrin, i would expect them to score 150 to be honest

A team is more likely to chase 400 in 150 overs as compared to 98 overs. I believe market priced in a washout today so any play would shorten windies price im sure.
