Elis,
We met a geezer in our local in Notting Hill who claimed to be Peter O'Toole's son. We didn't believe him but he was convinced, the fella was Welsh ffs! We had quite a laugh with others in the pub about it. Anyway I told Mrs 'Death that Peter O'Toole was going to be on the radio during as I thought she might be interested. Well she hates cricket anyway and hates me watching and listening to it but she did say isn't he dead? which, I had to think about! It was a lovely interview. Not Johnners at his finest but it was funny and interesting. This is what I love about cricket and BBC coverage. The interview was in 1991. They are not as good now but I remember an interview with Matty Hayden a player I did not much like at the time but he was such an interesting character and great bloke I changed my opinion of him, which, to be fair was formed purely as a smasher of English bowling and to some extent again imho at the time a flat track bully. |

I did think about hedging earlier on the no play today laying at 1.2, Small mistake as it did look short. I'm done with this test now and traded out, I'm sure I will enjoy the fun tomorrow. Eng 2.1 Green, WI 2k Red, Draw 1.5 Red.
By:
surely your putting on around 400 to cover the draw whizz ?
By:
Tom, what you on about, it aint a draw crash yet so it cant be aftertiming..
So STFU ![]() 4.6 THE LAST TEST WITH TEN WICKETS and 100 overs was 2.3 thinking of rain, at the start it was 3 plus, far as i can remember..ill jump before the start if i have to, in the meantime i'll take 4.6 and see the rain move in tonight..........i know it drains well but if its hosing it dowm at 7.30 am thats grand... its absolutely teaming here now a straight line to Manchester........ ![]() |

Hi
By:
Currently dry but showers all around.

This is going to be a interesting day. 90 overs and England win. Any interruptions though? Betting on the Manchester weather in July is a tad risky for me. Good luck all.
