Can't wait for 4-day tests. This series has been awesome for draw trading with all tests having a day washed out(if i'm not mistaken)
4-day tests and the draw will never die. All since hardly any team other than India seems to have any batsmen with brain there still won't be many draws. |

I spunked 600 of my green earlier, Day 5 is never a good time to trade, FACT. I can't grumble as I ended up with some decent green considering I traded this like a Dog. This series has done me well and its good to be back.

broad 500 wickets and more than 3000 runs with plenty more to add. people make out he doesn't know the difference of one end of the bat to the other these days but still averages nearly 20. can't do that over a very long career without chipping in with some decent scores. if he isn't a great cricketer it's a very select band

It is a select band mafeking.
He has taken 140 tests to get to his milestone. That is an incredible amount of test's and admirable to have such a long career at the top level. The last year or more he has improved so much by bowling a fuller length and straighter. Why has it taken so long to figure out? That is not great. that is the infinite monkey theory! He is an amazing cricketer and when he is on it he is on it. I just remember all the times he bowled wide of the stumps, too short and his comical Enforcer role. Look at the all time lists and you will see some truly great fast bowlers particularly just beneath him in the list. Having said that I do think he should share the new ball with Anderson. Both are fit and possibly bowling close to as well as ever right now. |
