I'm never sure of these run-chase stats when there is actually plenty of time left. Are there any high chases here that ended in a draw with plenty of wickets in hand that might have been a successful chase if there had been more time?

SA odds holding up unfortunately. In that awkward zone where I fully expect England to win but will probably be uncomfortable with the odds at some stage.

In fact uncomfortable now but if SA go down to around four or five then will be in a testing the balls situation which I could do without.

You could just take the dog for a walk Charlie.  A one-day walk, obviously..

I'm seriously tempted to lay SA again. I don't believe they can win from here but as ever it's how much grief I can stand.

I'll be very surprised if the Saffers beat their 1st innings score when they bat again - no chance of winning

Wish I could help CS but don't see how it is useful. I'm also more green on draw than England. Two days to go and probably need less than one for a result.

I can't offload it at the price it is now, hoping for a crash or semi crash tonight so I can start offloading it.   Its probably gonna rain all night and tuesday is still filthy in forecast. Put so much time effort into this game DEMORALISING to be Big Red on Eng! Cry

I too have large draw green. We needed the rain to come at 3ish at the latest.

Clear tomorrow and tuesday's forecast is changing all the time. May see 5s on the draw but wouldn't count on it.

That would have been amazing but I didn't do it with that expectation. I also can't complain too much about wickets because I was expecting them and backed after each one. Just needed a tiny bit more obduracy from one or two partnerships to get down below 5s and would have been massive. As would I have been if I'd been a bit less aggressive with the lays to get the money on results back after each wicket but then if it had just run a bit lower and England had closed a bit earlier only 6 down even, that would have been the right call. Need a lot of rain, some batting from England tomorrow, or I could just bail for a profit.

Certainly don't see a SA win at all and got lays in 9.6 and 12.5 for £4K red there. Course wickets hurt both that and my draw green but think I'm prepared to ride it.

The game will be over tomorrow, Monday. No rain forecast tomorrow and with 22 wickets having fallen in the last 2 days and today finished around 12 overs early, there is little chance of it not finishing tomorrow.

OT has history of wet outfields disrupting play. No idea if they've addressed this issue.

I think England will win but if SA get to 50-1,(Big if!!) draw will be 5s or less given Tuesday's forecast.

Could well be a delayed start tomorrow morning - Draw could tank on that alone.
