was spinning a bit and some signs of uneven bounce on 1st day so zero chance of it getting flatter and better to bat on

not as many tricks as the hapless f*ckers with the willow in their hands

Its doing too much for an afternoon of Day 3 for me, but Joe Root, not having too many problems (abeit a right thander)

By:
nice dig at that tw@t AB

By:
dont think Englands middle to lower tail will be able to handle this wicket personally
By:
England don't have a tail.
By:
Draw price rising is annoying me.
By:
England have enough already, what a minefield!
By:
a lot of balls keeping low , almost lawn ball like
By:
250 will be difficult to get on this, 300 I see SA out of the game completely
By:
^^^ Agree with you there
By:
Chasing 225 , id rate it a 50: 50 game
By:
if eng declared now and there was pretty much a full day tomorrow for a results, I'd make eng 1.8-1.9 and SA 2.1-2.2
By:
Only problem is if England get a lead of only 250 (I think they'll get a lead of at least 300 though) is that the odds will be a bit tricky having laid SA at average of 10.25.
By:
250 is 14 runs away
and they have no reason to declare so I wouldn't worry about the odds of england defending 250 ![]() |
By:
I'm not worried but two more quick wickets and I might be.

For a game I spent a long while floating over £5k draw red on, now being £15k green for £1.5k result red is a bit rum. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to top up over 7s though. What I did wrong, as it turns out, was not go flat or a bit green on results as could then have done far better. Oddly, I had a feeling Jenings would hang about.
By:
jennings has looked a walking wicket all series...matter of time before he gets out (was dropped today before eventually being dismissed)

reverse sweep wow
By:
what a stupid fcuking shot
By:
if at 1st aggression does not succeed, try more aggression juce, that's the england mantra

By:
look at anderson yesterday when bairstow was shepherding him at the end
reverse sweeping instead of blocking ![]() |
By:
yep agree with you 100% juce, try telling them that

The best was today for SL, the nightwatchman, it was the worst shot ever. Russell Arnold almost had a stroke
By:
Am holding onto more draw than usual here as expect it to collapse down even if England loses another wicket or two. Means I'm very exposed unless it gets to mid 4s though, which I doubt before the rain hits.
By:
I can't do much more i'll just have to wait on SA odds now.

That match was awesome, I got a 1.01 lay matched on Pakistan when they got the 10th wicket and it was overturned on review
By:
then 1 or 2 balls later it was over anyway
By:
Yasir Shah's celebration was priceless
By:
failure to recognise the importance of adapting to the match situation so that you can "play your natural game"
its commonplace in the modern game |
