failure to recognise the importance of adapting to the match situation so that you can "play your natural game"its commonplace in the modern game

As I'm on draw I want hardly any risks taken but actually don't think it's that bad to play shots here as runs keep you safe and you'll get out in the end anyway.

they managed to shift the rain from outfield at the start of the game so shouldn't be a problem with a lingering wet outfield when it has stopped raining

Grounds in England drain very well but could be a slight loss of time in the morning if it rains until 9 or 10, especially if there's loads of rain and it remains cloudy. Will probably be great swing bowling conditions. Good job no big Phil really.

South Africa would bat again today, if rain wasn't going to stop play and even though it will, England will win this game tomorrow or early Tuesday comfortably

Eng seems like a free lay here. Hoping draw will go low enough to lay sufficient to cover Eng lay and leave a residual green on SA to lay off after play resumes. Was going well until that last wicket, of course. Need draw to be low 4s.

that's how I see the game

266 is probably enough already but with a likely target of 300+ the runs will be really tough to get on this track and with a likely 3+ full sessions to bowl them out if needed has to be an eng win really

There may be no early Tuesday, is the point. Game is a long way on though you're right and there could be a result tomorrow very easily if England out before lunch.

even 1 session on tuesday will probably be enough (if its needed) and even then I'm not convinced it will be needed if we get a little more play today and all of tomorrow
