Ali didn't really deserve the three wickets, I suppose so can't really complain his figures are now suffering.

Eng price not budging despite a world record chase.

Why..........no point............really

2 days batting in the lovely warm sunshine to score 474
walk in the park |
By:
moeen's record in england averaging 35 is actually quite decent. wouldn't expect a genuine front liner to be much lower
By:
By:
Although, do have to bear in mind that sides haven't that often been set somewhere north of 450 but south of 500 with two days to chase them.
By:
Wild guess is that it's been offered about 40 times in tests and obviously never done. Can factor know a lot of smaller chases failed too, I suppose.
By:
Not the best start for England. Did he hit that?
By:
Quite high.
Didn't actually see it in real time. Clipping? |

Don't worry, that's just Johnny beating about the bush again......... ![]() |

cook's certainly top class against spin. most 100s in asia and one of the best records there of all time
By:
Two maidens and draw has come down to 32. Hmm. Am going to try to get a lay at 30 to go £13k red (and will then call it a day).
By:
Didn't look a terrible shout but probably over and definitely wouldn't review with Morkel bowling.
Poor shoe lace selection from England. That one looks out. |
By:
You have to go out there with the kind of shoe laces that need tying twice an over in this situation.
By:
Really testing bowling, this. To be fair, if you knew you were getting four overs this good you would declare.
By:
I did say on Friday, before this Test Started that England may struggle in this Test and the only thing that can save them is rain (absolutly none forecast) or a miracle, which won't happen.
By:
I'm debating backing the draw. If Eng get thru the new ball then they will be batting under sunny skies and I can see the draw going pretty short. Although SAF should win this. Could go well into day 5.

England won't bat Monday out; mentality is to try and play shots all of the time from most of the team & they don't understand the proper test attitude on a typical 4th day is to try and break the opposition with play by attrition - I put their defeat at 200-250 runs - it will be all over in the final session today without the 5th day coming into play
By:
Looks a glorious day for batting

that's my view also geordie

I'll put the final result on the back burner, its what the Saffer price that I'm interested in some 1.5 would be delicious.
By:
cant see SA getting to anything like that price CS but we'll see
By:
ill take 1.4
draw will be crazy |
