England have no chance to win - if they were chasing the lunchtime lead they should be 3/1 (would likely be evens) & yet they are less than 10s when the Saffers will end up with a lead of 450 to 500 - game lost on first innings when they had to get parity with SA & failed miserably

correct

Maybe Faf will surprise us with a declaration today.

Playing conditions are as good as they have been, not many play and misses, no one harping on about footholes.

We are just over 1/2 way through the test.

I am braced for something sensational to happen in this test match.   Just in case. *Braced*

I still think we will see a big enough over reaction on the draw

It's a waiting game. SA know they have so much time to take 10 wickets. Bat till noon tomorrow is my guess.

Tomorrow will be good for batting.

SA can just bat on and on and on until sometime convenient for them tomorrow (45 mins before lunch??) lead of 450+

by then the runs will be out of the question in terms of chasing them down and england don't have the patience to bat out for a draw

= SA win easily

So little change in the market today, although quite happy with my action. Feel pretty sure SA should have tightened a lot more. They've not scored all that fast or got themselves to a position where they can definitely set 500 but they've more than done enough.

Warner ramping the declaration. Now making himself sound even more idiotic by saying he wanted 15-20 overs this evening. Why would you declare to get some overs in on day 3 with 2 days left. England could get the runs with two sessions to spare in his scenario. Obviously they still almost always wouldn't but still!
By:

When: 16 Jul 17 17:49
Warne, that is. Warner might be ramping it too but isn't on comms.

Agreed FS. Mad from Warne. He says he prefers more overs than more runs. He's got 180 overs left!! If that's not enough, England win anyway.

Wickets spooking the market..

its a lot easier for warney to say, in the unlikely event it all goes wrong faf has a bit more to lose, he probably wants the game over tomorrow so he gets tuesday off

Lol, I went to £10k draw red ages ago (morning session) and am a bit disappointed I didn't get my last lay at 10 matched. I was disappointed at the time too!

Would quite like at least another 30 runs here. Getting out slogging to Moeen, much though I love the guy, isn't ideal. Can't see it mattering even without the amount of turn and variable bounce on offer though.

The 10 wicket MotM at Lord's has bowled 14% of the overs this innings. Still taken 3...

He should have bowled all of Dawson's overs.

don't generally see sides fight very hard these days when the situation is hopeless. in any case england's strength hasn't been the top 3 for a long time now

You never know with Cooke...

He may block quite a bit and get a slow ton plus..

Generally tho England score quickly which waves the draw bye bye, pretty much..

Warnes is so ignorant. '9 overs to go'. No Shane there's half an hour.

Very rum selection. Can see why Dawson played at Lord's if England thought he was a legitimate spinner and actually he justified that notion on a Bunsen but made no sense here.

Market's made up its mind. 8s to chase something huge.
