Run lines have SA getting about 325 which would give them a lead of 455, so i think the current price for England to wont go out much, i reckon about 10s

That is my worry. I was keen on laying them at one point but to do it now carries a lot of risk if the market is only going to move 8 - 9s/10s by the chase

Agree. Obviously England's chances from here do partly depend on the occasions where they wrap SA up for sub 150 more so the run lines argument doesn't get you the full picture but it's still a decent yardstick.

On laying England, I wouldn't bother as a trade from here, because wickets in the morning will do you, as would a decent England's start even chasing 450 (although you'd have had the chance to get rid by then). For outcome value though, England lay, draw lay and SA back are all very sensible. I think SA should be 1.15 or under from here. I would have England near 8s to chase 325!

Given how many runs?

The England price here is crazy and will climb fast if there are even small numbers of runs scored but as I'm already £3.5k red England, doesn't appeal that much to lay it, especially as I'm already hoping on some quiet batting on to get some draw lays in in the teens.

Agree. There are short term reasons why you might not choose to lump on SA but this position is just enormous.

Hmm, short term reasons not to lump on SA be damned, just took £2k of 1.23. If England take lots of wickets quickly and start well with the bat chasing 300 I'll just sit on it and sweat.

Got my draw lay at 18 in, although it wasnt set up with me having already piled £4K on SA in mind so quite red now. Not that I've any reason to be worried about the draw. How could this be drawn? It's close to impossible.

Seems to be swinging with the Eng price. England hit 7 there in the second over and it was out to 22/23. Now Eng back to 8 starting price this morning and it is back to 18.5

Yes ive seen him walk on more than one occasions. Especially off spinners when its bat-pad or caught behind.
