SA have bowled pretty well without Steyn and Philander whereas Eng have been pathetic even with Anderson.
Got to love Rabada!

Average 17.74

Got some at 42 and 38 just in case

Would have had more but layed SA too early at4, 3.95 and 2.9 so did not get a chance to lay them at sub 3 when I would have hammered it!

Can't decide wether to stick or twist. 1 more wicket and I can still keep SA onside . It will be a draw but there will also be blood!

Got 1600 SA green to play with

Well played sir!

So often wise to 'load up on the dog' and wait for a nbice surprise.

Trouble is there were 2 dogs!

Oh wow, another!

You got to laugh when it goes well . I was convinced England would win but managed to get a big draw green half of which I gave away to green up on all results.

Root would have been amazing but the prices didn't drop so they must have known it was a no ball.

Now I wave to wait and let the chips fall for glory. I am happy with my draw green. I just wanted to scratch back a hundred and something but will not clear my SA green as you just never know but I'd give up half

Half and half but really should I let it ride?

Root's gone now.

He has this one weakness of playing too deep in the crease. I wonder why it's not exploited more.

WD - well, you've called it right to get into this position so if it was me I would take the profit and move on.

Everyone's different though.

Eng's chances of winning are of course increasing with every wicket.

Crazy that England are now in this position after day 1&2

if Stokes hadn't played thar well, they would be starig into an innings defeat now.

or if they hadn't dropped the 10 catches, they would have been bowling at SA by now.

Eng great value at 110. SA could easily be skittled chasing, say, 150.

what was the point of the England declaration in the 1st innings? They were 1-0 up in the series, scoring at a fast rate - and if they were going to win it didn't matter if they had spent 10-15 more overs.

Got a feeling England will be all out. Whether or not it is a manageable chase is the question. Batting 3rd when you have nothing to gain can be tricky. Pak almost did it against England last year

If England get bowled out this session, it would be a chaseable target(180-230 in 30 overs)
Im pretty sure England would go for shots here. A quick 40 from one of them will ensure a draw.

every england test game i watch seems to be the draw nailed on after day 2/3 then the last day there's always a bit of a surprise

This is very much game on. 59 overs left. Ball is reversing. Probably will be a draw but I do hope there are somes serious nerves. People were rightly complaining about the wicket but it just goes to show what can happen when the ball does swing.

Determined not to throw away my profit. have set the trap and if there are quick wickets I will increase my cash out and if there aren't shall just be greatful I didn't fall into the England trap!

Ive waited all day for the draw price to come up so thati can back it. Now that it has come to 1.36, i have zero trust in England.

SA must be fav now. 4 more wickets for another 40 runs before tea and a run chase. What an inconsistent shower England still are.
By:

When: 06 Jan 16 12:04
Eng can easily win this. SA will cough it up chasing the target.

No test side has ever lost having scored 600 in the 1st innings. This could easily be a first now.

SA touched 85..the draw 1.04..choking Eng 1.56..think they lose this unless the tail can do what the so called top order abjectly couldn't

Botham very hubristic..thought it was a done deal after Stokes pyrotechnics

52 overs left? lose 2 with change of innings, means 50 left? Dont think theres enough time for SA to win

Is that lack of mathematics knowledge or lack of cricketing sense?

If England can bat after tea the runs/overs equation is probably OK, but certainly not before.
By:

When: 06 Jan 16 12:11
England need to play for time! Another 50 odd runs could make them safe enough but this game is nuts!

lead is fairly paltry if these other wkts go cheaply
our 'tail' is more steadfast than the t0ssers aboveit
think there'll be a stand or two to 'run down the clock'..to use an NFL metaphor
but wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Saffers went on to win the next 2 and the series

Respect.
But i really dont understand how 50 overs remaining in the gme, Eng leading by 124 with 4 wkt in hand cannot be a SA victory.
Eng bat 20 more overs, and give SA 200 t chase in 30 overs, thats gettable.

Not saying it can't just saying I don't think it will be.
