Doubt it at this stage. Draw nailed on.

If ngland dont take a wicket in the next 10 overs, Amla and AB are going to help themselves to 300 each. And we can forget about Eng victory.

will SA declare when they reach 1000?
By:

Cook should have declared when Eng got to 700. Then SA would be under huge scoreboard pressure and may have found it harder going.
By:

They're still a long long way behind

Nil desperandum Johhny!

Half time!

I am going to settle for equal green here. We still don't know if the pitch will break up. It's hot and the wind is strong . SA will still be 200 odd behind by end of day.

The way it's going SA might end up with a 1st innings lead if De Villiers goes on to get his 300. Laugh

SA still need 4 more sessions to reach England's score(at this rate).

all the pundits were quick to slag off the SA bowling
wouldn't say our boys have particularly distinguished themselves either
a given being that it is more conducive to batting than bowling

Yeh NZ needed about 30 runs on the last day with 6 wickets in hand. About 40 overs left. It rained from nowhere and the game was drawn. It was laid at 1000

If England take their chances, draw is still not sure. Who knows how pitch behaves on day 5, which is still 1,5 days(135 overs) away!

The main problem is England are 1-0 up and don't need to set the game up second dig.

Both test matches at the moment are massive odds on the draw. Can see one of them being turned over.

The Aus test is interesting because Aus could turn it around in the last 2 days.
