Drat! that Dec has definitely cost me some Green in the short term! will try and get it back quickly by backing Saffers.
By:
maybe it wont take long at all for the draw to go odds on
By:
pollock will be ramping on about a possible south africa win so he can get a decent trade also.

How's stat?!
Andrew Samson BBC Test Match Special statistician "The 550-600 took only 22 balls. They took 15.1 overs to get from 300-400 and just 11 overs from 400-500." |
By:
@slip5 Just for the facts, Amla and AB have a contract with CSA. It is CSA that decides who they play. Don't know what you are on about.

By:
that nick off the bat..music to Elgar's ears

By:
just got rid of my Sa red at a crazy low price 42/1, cannot see how they could win, but had to much red to let it ride, i'm out of this now,
By:
I bought some at 42. There is a chance it will go low 20's but wanted some in the bank for a heavy bet if the pitch looks like breaking up.
Pitch looks good enough to me for SA to get 400. Should they survive evening session without too much trouble it will be swept and rolled again. Still hoping for the draw to come in a bit, we shall se what transpires. Funny the market recognised van Zyl wicket and price did not even blink! |
By:
Boycott right here. get the quicks on while the ball is new.
By:
England at 2.25
By:
Wow did' expect the current price movement to be so generous. I guess Amla looks good on the back foot. AB to come and I think de Kock is decent. I would have retained Duminy instead of van Zyl hoping he would rediscover his form and on this pitch he might have. Still a long way to go to save this game. Going to start greening I think

please excuse my stupidity but been working non stop since 20th dec is this a 3 day test ? thanks

thanks tom

What I love about Test Matches is you can be wrong several times about what is going to happen and still be Green All Over......the opposite can also be true though.
By:
I profit draw or eng win, but this is what the bettors want- a player to take the game away from the opposition, ben and johnners do this fairly regularly, but I always feel theres a tweak somewhere in the england set up, that will make them great opposition
By:
SAF price not moved with that wicket
By:
Elgar is tough and gritty and has my respect but he is not a great player. Looks suspect against an off spinner and is not a great off driver. The immediate match and betting prospects rest on these two batsmen. Amla looks at ease and AB should have no trouble on this pitch or scoring at a good lick. We shall lose about 7 overs tonight. If these two last then we may see the draw come in again. The runs are important as SA are still a long way behind. They need to go past 400 but more importantly bat into the 4th day.
Being in the draw is precarious but there are a couple like FAF who can bat long and de Kock who can score quickly so the game is not up quite yet for SA. Was about to cash out when the second wicket fell, doh |
By:
I am backing Draw @ 2.02 great price imo
By:
Sounds like the kiss of death!
Nelson too! England were 2.7 just half an hour ago |

By:
I could trade out for nice green but still see Draw as best bet. I am holding. My plan is to trade out stop loss at my original price IF that happens, but can't see it personally 1.01 train imo
By:
SA's mindset should be to face 100 overs or so ensuring Cook has no hesitation but to bat again and rest his bowlers.
A comment about the pitch...too much in favour of the batsmen. It's a friggin' road. |

Can't understand what has happened to his mighty South African team, they were a powerful test unit, suddenly struggling to produce a decent performance?
