think warks were insured against a 3 day finish but who could have thought a 2 dayer which is very much on the cards now was a realistic possibility
suppose that's what happens when you play joke opposition ![]() |

what do we think will happen when they get home? skipper, coach and selectors gone??? (i realise this assumes they are allowed home)
By:
Horrendous, appalling, amateurish, junk from the ozzies. Leaping around the crease like ****g Wayne Sleep. Sack the lot of them.

Only been 15 years since England last won a test in two days.
By:
would all have been over by now if anderson had been fit

aussies not won a test series in england since 2001
won 3 of their last 18 tests here 2/5 at the start of the series ![]() |
By:
yep but that was against a shocking west indies side. supposedly this was a great aussie side or at least that's what they kept telling us before the series

will have 13 of their last 20 away tests if they go down here. they really are a shambles away from the comforts of home

Was only five years before that two-day win, Windies beat us in little more than two - again at Edgbaston.

was that the game where early on a ball took off a normal length and bounced over everybody's head for 4 byes

Can't remember but very possible. Because my biggest memory was Robin Smith's two innings against some very frightening bowling.

call me crazy, but i think australia will win the ashes.

By:
2010? 2014 they won a test series in SA. Probably more appropriate.
England win .87 away, Aus win 1.22 away... Hmmm.. |
By:
Bye Clarkey. You've been a decent player but call it a draw now son, It's not there anymore and hasn't been for a while
By:
imagine how easy this would be if england had a captain who could bat or catch a ball.
By:
By:
yes BJT I don't doubt recent series are more appropriate but to get a proper sample size I like a few years worth of data...also a little too convenient imo to choose 2012 as cut off point given england won in india in 2012
lets face it SA are the team who travel best, a lot of other teams struggle...eng and aus are both in that club |

Amazed how hard they're going at the ball.
Truly awful batting. Voges very lucky there as well. Have they learnt nothing? What's Boof 'coaching' them to do?? |
By:
bowling and bowling is rank average these days in world cricket. Anderson is no better than he used to be.
By:
Broad took 8-15 bowling 83 mph
By:
Sideways movement has always been more important that just pace, especially since helmets.
Helps if batsmen have no idea where their off stump is too.. |
By:
If you've averaged 50 in your test career you have been a decent player.

another wicket off a no ball, this is idiotic
