Too much water for me still. If the ball plops into those puddles it is not good. I don't think India would not want to bat tonight. Best scenario for them is three wickets tonight and one tomorrow morning after about 20 mins.

This is easy - they just call it off for the day and let the sun dry it out for tomorrow. The Indian bowlers will only take a dive in the first over and they will call them off. That's what a Spanish cricketer would do anyway.

Draw isn't that unrealistic imo, but it would need 2 things to happen. England bat all day tomorrow. and Sunday is a washout. That leaves india batting out 3 sessions to save the test.

So we've had Trent Bridge warned for a boring pitch, a great game at Lord's, people not coming to Southampton (and both of those grounds overcharged on the last day), and now the drainage failing at Old Trafford.
