Must admit it took me by surpise so I PM'd him back with about 50 links from Dr McDougall's website and about 10 Dr Fung videos also asked for his address so I can subscribe him to The McDougall Fan Club as a peace and goodwill gesture, heard nothing back must be still eating.

Yeah, right. Nothing I'd say personally that I wouldn't say on here, Denzil.
So to avoid any misrepresentation, you can be very sure I haven't sent you a PM. Crippen, you were misinformed, it was 5 loaves and 2 fishes. They send them automatically as it's Christmas. (Chances of you understanding that; approximately 7%) |

Must be another secret admirer.

STUDYPORN, the only thing you'll get sent from heaven is the gout. Chances of you understanding that 0 |

Dr C have you not heard of the biblical diet 5 loaves and 2 fishes are standard not sure he'd take the fasting though?
|

By:
Help his tablets to go down.

Thought he'd started relying on prayer power.

Well done for explaining it to him, denzil.
You've made me smile this evening, in a sort of childish way, like I've just been watching something extra silly on Tellytubbies. (I know you're not tubby btw - it causes diabetes [in your world]). Or perhaps it's the muppets. Yes, that's it! Statler and Waldorf. |
|
By:
No...
I know what it is... Beavis and Butthead |
|
By:
Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh so it's like the Teletubbies are the ones giving you the diet advice dude?
|
|

Statler and Waldorf.
One of them is his doctor. |
|

The other is his son.

Not that STUDYPORN is getting on at all.
|

You really don't understand humour, jokes, sarcasm or wit of any type do you crippen?
Which also explains why your posts are lacking in them all. |
|

It just comes naturally STUDY.
I can't help taking the p!ss out of you because you come across as such a berk all the time. |

I have been recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I notice from your posts that you are adamant that it can't be reversed. I have read a little bit on the subject and people like Mosely etc make an argument that it can be reversed without medication. I am curious to know why you think it can't be reversed. I am willing to try anything to reverse it,I am currently on metaformin for the last ten days and don't want to be on meds for life. |
|
By:
Hasnt Tom Watson reversed it.

Thanks Denzil,
That's good video from Dr Barnard, who is another highly qualified medical doctor. It's noticeable all these starch diet doctors are as slim as racing snakes. If the first ten minutes aren't enough to get anyone interested in the starch based diet they'd better get used to taking their tablets. And jabbing themselves with needles as their condition gets worse. |

Dr Joel Fuhrman is another doctor worth listening to haven't watched the video below but have seen others and read articles from his site, the thing with all of these guys is there message is supported by science and practical experience they are telling the truth relaying independent studies and not those sponsored by pharmaceutical companies or meat, sugar, fast food, dairy etc. corporations.
The problem we have is what we see in the mainstream has usually been sponsored or paid to be there by a particular sector which is all about making money prolonging illness and promoting drug/product use and not solving the causes of the illness in the first place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6DtLgedNPI |

By:
Aye Dr C it is he's another who explains things very well which is what's needed so people aren't in knots trying to work out what's going on.
|
|
By:
Cheers guys are all these docs you have mentioned singing off the same hymn sheet so to speak,I haven't managed to look at all of them yet,but I will.
I am anxious to beat this without lifetime medication. |

The vast majority of doctors are not saying this stuff.
Call it a mainstream line if you like. I prefer to listen to a mass of qualified medical professionals who've devoted their working life to studying the disease, than to a FEW online quacks who are trying to make money by selling books and courses. Some medication, G Hall, exists to do its job and isn't actually a trick. This thread and its persistence by a diet fan, and a twerp who believes every conspiracy theory and evangelical online conman going needs to be looked into more thoroughly than merely watching the links these same conmen invent to sell their wares. The reason this stuff isn't "mainstream" isn't that mainstream is rubbish, it's that telling you so helps spread their message better. It's how all such things work. |

Obviously all the scientific data cited and proven means nothing to STUDYFORM.

Thanks for the reply it is really difficult to know how to overcome this illness.

The real stuff means loads.
Especially to me, as a diabetes sufferer. Glad to be of service, btw, ![]() ![]() |

The intelligent path would be to combine a diet plan while on the medication then if you have progress make a decision later, good luck

It is, treetop. You're right. imo.
Believe it or not the "mainstream" doctors want to make us better. It's their job, they're not all idiots, and they're not all wrong in the face of overwhelming evidence from some American doctor/chancer who has some followers. They would rather patients weren't on medication for everyone's sake. It makes for less work and saves their budget. Denzil, even if all the other stuff you've written or linked to had any grains of truth, I seriously don't believe that medications are made and prescribed which are known to keep people ill. And if your "superdocs" have discovered such a thing for real and no-one else but you and the other followers know about it, you should ask yourself why? Such drugs would NOT be prescribed, if there was any truth in this assertion, or if there was so simple a solution as eating sugar (for example). Think of the litigation ramifications apart from anything else. |

STUDY you couldn't be more wrong on this subject and it's sadly to your cost.
Please allow others with the illness the chance to do their own research which will give them a chance to practically prove whether it is correct or not, don't really know why you're against anyone attempting to help themselves rather than a life on medications which are proven not to work. Living like society's who have no evidence of this disease or many others for that matter is set in stone not even you can argue with that, the human DNA hasn't changed for 1000s of years all that has is what we put into our mouths and there's more disease than ever. |

STUDYFORM rarely fails to display his pig-ignorance when he posts, and does it again here at 15 Nov 18 19:59 by referring to highly qualified medical doctors as quacks.
But what makes him look even more pathetic, is that he seems to have forgotten he's the one who suffers appalling health |

Any opinions guys on the keto diet and Dr Moseley's 8 week blood sugar plan
