My mother is now off painkillers for her arthritis since following starch/plant based advice though she still has her Sunday Roast and the occasional piece of fish, she had a 2nd hip op earlier in the year and I started getting her out walking regularly she's lost weight and is better than she's been since her 40s.

No bother dan.

Eating almost unlimited starches, pulses, veg and a bit fruit is the easiest way of eating ever and you will have all your nutrients and lose weight, never have I had to go hungry it's a win win.
Check out the guy who lived on potatoes for a year this prompted me to do it for more than a month with Roast Potatoes,Sea Salt and onion vinegar.
When Dr C gave me some info at the end of March I was dubious but checked it out and without that much effort and a bit of experimentation I'm currently nearly 4 stones lighter than when I started and it's only recently that I plateaued and decided to do some fasting experiments.

Good video Denzil.

That puts the nutrition experts in their place, after they keep telling us we need so much of this or that in order to be healthy.

I wonder how they'd explain him away?

We've got a Tefal Actifry.

Put your chips in, add a drop of oil or marge.

18 minutes.

Yes that's true about sweet potatoes cooking quicker.

I think the last lot I did only took 12 minutes.

The numbers of people being diagnosed with S2 diabetes is startling.

My advice to people is to get it checked. Chemists do it for free.
So there's no need to visit the doctor in the first instance.
The chemists will give you your results on the spot, and recommend if you need to see your doctor.

Then if you're pre diabetic or just a bit over you'll stand a chance of reversing it before the doctor starts writing his prescriptions.

Just cleared out my sister's house after she passed away, the amount of excess medication has staggered me. Her heart gave way over time, leaking valves that couldn't be operated on. Over time we have nagged her to take her meds as well as building herself up,to no avail but she would round on us for pushing her. Emptying drawers we found medication going back up to two years that filled a charity bag !! Statins/Warfarin (blood thinning) and various stuff that covered a range of ailments but we were none the wiser as it was pushed away in various cabinets while the regular weekly Nomad (set out for daily useage)from the chemist was delivered every Monday and was seen to be taken by family and carers ?? A retired pharmacist friend said the average value of this wasted medication was typically up to £2,000 and a regular occurence with old people late in life, often 1 in 3 of deaths see family taking stuff to the pharmacies but it cant be reused as storage has damaged efficacy of the medications. This doesn't take into account the discarding down toilets and bins over time .It seems the quangos responsible push for endless prescriptions for every possible ailment without taking any responsibility for managing it via pharmacies.G.P surgeries.

Same here Denzil,my mate said this is a scandal of waste and some pharmacists have taken to visiting older people and liaising with G.Ps but they do little about it.What has puzzled me is that we took a close interest in recent months but missed this completely.

The starch based diet used by Dr J McDougall and co is the one to keep on for life.

Watch one or two of his videos on YouTube - ''Dr McDougall diabetes diet''

He's a fully qualified medical doctor licensed to practise and prescribe drugs in five states.
He reckons 11% of the patients who go to him are diabetic.

Listen very closely to all he's got to say, especially how he treats diabetic patients on medication.
If he doesn't mention it there look for it in some other of his videos. It's very important.
