imagine if you spent hours getting posts removed off the forum then what you would do if you
were getting your human rights removed by a rabid racist government, eh, crippen?

But the antisemites are not in parliament, and jezzbollahs racist government are unlikely to ever be in power ,so everything is fine ,just fine Donny.

It is not the administrators who made this error that will pay if compensation is dished out.

It is the law abiding tax payers who have done nothing wrong.
By:

exactly it

maybe government ministers should take out private insurance against their errors

Isn't that a microcosm of politics right now? Just zero accountability.

It's not that long ago that Jeremy Hunt would have lost his job over those flats he didn't declare. Now? Not even spoken about a couple of days later. Really weird times. Brexit has been all consuming and everything else is almost an irrelevance as long as we get out of the EU.

Not too long ago heads would be rolling over this, probably up to governmental level. Now? Zilch.

Donny can you answer any of these questions or are you talking blindly.
How many people were deported?
How many people were refused re-entry after leaving this country?
How many people lost their rights because of this?
How many people were held in detention centres?

You don't know the extent of the problem yet you are attacking it full pelt. Laugh
I don't know and I'm guessing the actual figures are as yet undetermined.
Hopefully it won't be many which I'm sure you'll agree with. I mean why would anyone hope otherwise?

The numbers involved are important surely?
Wholescale then heads must roll. A few and then lessons can be learned.

1 is 1 too many

2 is 2 too many

and its all been so avoidable

may has been pushed on this for months and months and constantly refused to meet with the people

then commonwealth conference comes around .....and she was cornered

i dont wish there to be more cases, i wish there were none

but the scale of it and the attitude is a disgrace

as i t points out it is not may that will pay the compo, its all of us
By:
akabula
When: 23 Apr 18 23:12
Have you've changed your mind on scale then?
Didn't you describe 2400 anti-Semitism complaints as not that much in the scheme of things?
By:
donny osmond
When: 23 Apr 18 23:31
thats what i compared compared to anti islamic posts on this forum, which is a tiny forum compared to
the size of the facebook groups being scanned

i again said was 2,400 too many or whatever the figure was

once again you bring something onto a thread about something else instead of dealing with it elsewhere

it really has nothing to do with windrush nor my condemnation of anti islamic posts on here and
condemnation of anti semitic posts on facebook or anywhere else. nor my view of scale.

it seems some folk are religious bigots and think it ok...i do not think it ok.

windrush is a national disgrace affecting british citizens inflicted by british government

By:

It was relevant to this thread Donny.
We were discussing the scale of the problem
You said it didn't matter and I said it did.
That seemed a shift of view on your part.
By:
donny osmond
When: 23 Apr 18 23:37
no i was discussing the scale of two similar things not connected to
the disgrace that is windrush

if you fail to see that then once again it is your failure, not mine

your attacks on the windrush victims are vile

Throwing mud again Donny. You always do that when losing an argument.

The term 'expatriate' applies to anyone living outwith their native country.

For those directly affected by this then compensation will be paid. I don't think many will disagree with that but I saw one woman claiming it had caused her anxiety (nothing actually happened to her) and said that"Compensation would be nice, it would help me".
Kerching for some.

She's not a victim. Unfortunately we see this kind of behaviour all too often in society.
Seen a clip tonight of someone who had lost his job because of this. He'll get compensated and justifiably so as he was indeed a victim of this ****-up.
By:
donny osmond

how do you know she isnt a victim?

its just taking a view based on what you saw on tv

word soon spreads around a community when government is treating folk unfairly

as this bunch have done

good reason to fear when bad things are happing to fellow citizens

Poor argument Donny.
She suffered no loss yet you want her paid compensation.
Once again you've come on a thread to use it as a vehicle to attack the Tories.
Shame on you.

What I can't understand is why this hasn't come to light before? Without UK passports, what documentation did they use to travel?

Until late 60s/early 70s anyone from Jamaica,India etc had the right to come and live in Britain.

Big difference between Holyrood and Westminster elections.
I voted LibDem. The rise in the SNP made me vote for whoever could beat them.
Corbyn coming on the scene made it complicated for the Westminster elections.

accountability  like over the last 40 years in Telford.

or

rotherham, rochdale, oxford, newcastle, slow, oxford you know them all

Some of the victims in Rotherham have got some compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority payout. In fact the victim of any crime can apply:

https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/exclusive-police-and-council-agree-compensation-running-into-six-figures-with-rotherham-abuse-scandal-victims-1-8697035

700 victims were refused payouts (some as young as 12) because it was said that 'consented'.

https://www.theguardian.com/society/2017/sep/11/compensation-body-told-rotherham-abuse-victim-she-consented

Will be interesting to see how the compensation for the Windrush and Grenfell victims compare. As long as everyone is treated equally no one should complain.

In the cases of Windrush, Rotherham, Grenfell, Telford, Iraq, Rochdale, Oxford etc the civil servants, council members and politicians responsible should be held to account and, where appropriate, criminal charges made. If people take the pay to be public office they have to take the responsibility. Religion and skin colour should be irrelevant.

its usually quite difficult to claim compensation for the results of a government policy

this government has been taken to court numerous times now for their vile policies

this one they have been shamed before it got to court

the country deserves so much better
