I remember when I was 18 I met a girl on the train that I went to Primary School with. She was smokin' hot. She told me she had got a job at the boxing holding up the number in between rounds. Said it was good money for something so easy. I was in a whirl imagining her in a bikini at the boxing holding up a sign with a number on it. A few years before when I was 14 I talked to her at the train station and was emboldened enough to ring her up a few days later and ask her if she wanted to go to the movies. She didn't. I can't blame her. She was 14 going on 25 and I was 14 still stuck at 12.

A few years ago, after ONE woman, a young mum with a young child who was watching Tom and Jerry on the Cartoon Network, called them to complain the Tom was seen smoking in the cartoon. They didn't reply to her (as I would have done) sensibly, that the cartoon was made in the 1940's when nearly everyone smoked, deal with it, or watch something else, or simply educate your child. No. What they did was to cut any reference to smoking or cigarettes from their Tom and Jerry films.
So who is to blame?
