I agree with studyform. I have a small table with very shapely legs, I dread having to put a fabric veil round it.

loose women
should be rightly worried |

What about casino girls? the one's that do the roulette wheel, are they going to be next?
If they are targeting boxing and darts walk on girls then the casino has to be the next in line? |
By:
Cheerleaders next? Will be hard to stop once they get momentum going.
By:
WHO is actually stopping all this stuff?
Does anyone actually know? |

Fear is spreading virus like among every company PR dept in the land, they are all shltting it. Self fuelling for now but once it starts costing them, good sense may prevail.

Alun may have hit the Nail , could a Protest by Feminist Muslim dart fans ...

Spot on Study , People making a Living out of Shyte Most could not give a Flying about any cause only their Bank Balance ..

The supposition that some indignant offended people are "up in arms" at ever stupid decision that's made is, imo, wrong.
I know the papers and tv hacks get work out of it, but what it nearly always isn't, is people being bothered or offended. |

The population is very divided SF. You are either a SJW or you are not. Those who are will support anything and everything for the cause. Those who are not will resist it, something has to give.

STUDYFORM
WHO is actually stopping all this stuff? Does anyone actually know? Nobody in particular just bandwagon jumpers who attack, get support and media going along with it. School nativety plays was a classic. Agreed that it wasn't the muslim community behind it but people who thought they were offended. That happened in various parts of the country. |
By:
SJW?
By:
Sorry, Social Justice Warrior. My brother does watch a lot of stuff and it must be a term used on youtube.

I've never met anyone ever (of any background), who was remotely insulted, offended or bothered by:
Christmas, Easter, Love thy neighbour, Larry Grayson, Bernard Manning, dancing girls, saying "love" or "darling", a lack of women in politics or sport or anywhere else come to that, the lack of disabled people in sport (one of my best mates has only 1 leg and even he says the same), no sign language interpreters on tv, etc etc... There are SJW's (thank you), but not many. They are vociferous and the press LOVES them because it gives cheap stories. I would the think the divided population when it comes to this stuff is divided 98% 2%. And most of the 2% is millennial or ex-media studies student and most likely Vegan. (I know, it's a stereotype). |
By:
'There are SJW's (thank you), but not many'
Exactly, the minority tail is wagging the dog but it cannot go on for ever. They are getting more angry as the public openly laughs at them, this will grow. |
By:
It goes alongside positive discrimination, it's divisive. Which is all the more reason that people shouldn't immediately start going off blaming people who they think...
well, this sort of stuff: InsiderTrader • January 27, 2018 4:32 PM GMT None of the usual forum snowflakes have come on this thread. Mind you I think Insider Trader only exists to stir anything possible doridoru • January 27, 2018 7:19 PM GMT PATHETIC - the same snowflakes who are offended by Trump, Brexit and the tv show Friends!!! Which then causes more arguments, gets personal against people who've done nothing and it came from nowhere |
By:
It's only words, look at what I get called.

By:
they aint banned , they just aint happening
if all you snowflakes stop watchin the darts then they might bring them back |
By:
Vegan?
I rather resent that, Study. I can assure you, sir, given half a chance I would have the walk-on girls perform a lesbian stage show before each set. Please don't fall into the trap of believing the fallacious myths about vegetarians or vegans, it is every bit as galling as the unjust political bias. |

It seems to me that freedom of a society is inversely proportional to how prudish it is.
By:
I don't know about progressives. Regressives more like.

Boxing - someone has to hold the round board up and it might as well be a nice looking lass so we arent spending the whole hour looking at 2 half naked blokes
Cheerleading - is dancing really. Its entertainment. Girls are usually quite good at it Darts - Not sure i see the point of these girls anyway? Just standing round for the sake of it. I dont have a glamorous girl walk me into the office everyday and im not sure it would make my life any better if i did. Go and get a proper job. |
By:
Sorry, pokermonster no offence intended (especially to fine upstanding vegans like yourself)...
I'm trying to show how similar it is to such responses as: PATHETIC - the same snowflakes who are offended by Trump, Brexit and the tv show Friends!!! Indeed, it's rather the point I try to make all the time on here. Good point, Donny. |
By:
Well it's not a good point by donny , people like to watch darts
By:
Standing around looking good is a major part of many jobs
By:
they aint banned , they just aint happening
(Donny's good point) |
By:
That's worse , more dishonest . I would prefer them to ban it
Perhaps it would be illegal to ban it Yes that's how it works and that's why it's worse |
By:
So that also is not a good point
By:
Your desperation to disagree must give you a headache, lfc.
By:
that's another silly point right there
By:
You see you have to understand why donny made the point he did
It's the sort of thing leftists do |
By:
They're like that , they will always try and find a way to justify their repression of other people and to force their way of thinking onto other people
And at the same time try and pretend to themselves that they wouldn't possibly do any such thing That's why they make silly comments and silly people think they are good comments |
By:
No problem, Study. :)
Sorry to moan, sir, my post was meant to come across as a light-hearted jibe but it didn't come out quite as intended. Us vegans are like that, miserable bastards. :) |
By:
What, stating the fact that they're not banned, just not happening?
That's SUCH a leftist thing to do. How repressive of him. You're making the mistake of disagreeing with 2 people about 1 thing that can't be disputed, lfc. I have to deal with quite a few vegans at work, PM, one even asked me for a job yesterday! You might have swayed my decision. ![]() ![]() |
By:
read again what I said study and you will find that I agreed that it wasn't banned
That was my point , of course so stop talking nonsense no one fooled by that |
By:
Harvey Weinstein has a lot to answer for, good and bad. Which ever side of the fence you are on, things will never be the same again. Will NFL cheerleaders be next? If women want to continue to play these sort of roles they need to say so now. I suspect that 50% of men could lose their jobs if some impropriety in their youth was deemed a sacking offence as it seems to be in politics.
By:
Indeed, Save the Children have said they would treat the Brendan Cox affair very differently today. A lucky man?
By:
in a rural village where lots of the kids parents worked in farming they had a working farm , explainming to the kids how it connected into the food chain etc, till the militant vegans intervened and the school closed it down
By:
That proves a point. 1stTP.
Militant ANYTHING is bad. I think the world's biggest problems are caused by fervent believers of THEIR: Religion, Politics, Football team, sexuality and general beliefs. The fact is that - and I think this is something of a natural trait - everyone thinks everyone else is the same as them! Fanatical, obsessive belief in anything is no good to society. |
