"Well, it's a grand old team to play for...diddly eye dye dee woopy-do," sang Mister Turner as he did his very advanced colouring-in...

We used to transport a lot of those Scottish paintings back in the early eighties - you could buy a good one for £5-10k and that seemed an awful lot at the time. Originally, Peploe and Cadell were selling them for £25-35, mainly in Edinburgh I think.

No mate, they were the 4 throughout. He might have been in another of the series.

John Cairney was born in the London Road two minutes walk from parkhead.
His parents and my grandparents were close friends. |

Think Cushley went over to Spain with Jimmy McGrory on a kind of fake propaganda mission to buy Di Stefano and bring him to Celtic - as if...but big Cushley spoke Spanish so that's why he went out there...

Googled Jimmy McGrory John Cushley and the photo is on tinypic - McGrory is smoking a pipe and Cushley is carrying the bags at the airport...

For the others Vel we should state that it is a scene from The Wall mentioned earlier

That actress is brilliant too. She was in The Baader Meinhof Complex and The Lives of Others.

The lives Of Others was a great film. Mind you Murdoch`s lot make the Stasi look harmless.

Mac, the Lynch paintings were aimed at the mass market for prints and are fine for hanging on the wall. Certainly preferable to prints of village greens and duck ponds or photos of Aunt Mabel. (although Aunt Mabel goes back up when she's due a visit, especially if she's loaded).
