Yes you're right King the game has been evolving ever since the online game started & I have been smart enough to adapt , I know the good times are over for now my best years were actually 2010/11 & I've been grinding away like a lunatic ever since

Running your own business will be a way to lose what money you have imho.

You could always apply to a bog standard University as a mature student.  You'll get a loan you'll probably never have to pay back and it might be a step to getting yourself back in the wider world

Banks will be knocking your door down to lend you money if you have money in their bank.

When I was younger I remember trying to be a professional gambler
First on the Greyhounds(lasted 9 months)
then on the Horses(6 months)

I got a long way in front, but went skint both times, professional gambler I am not
Of course then there were plenty of jobs then, one could take a sabbatical from work and easily get back in

I hate the way it is now, a failure of our society or perhaps our world

you spend too much time analysing everything and looking at yourself as some sort of victim

you need to man up and grow some b@lls frankly, if you can't cut it go and get a job because all you'll do is spiral downwards

and before you think i'm having a pop, this is meant as constructive advice, gambling of any description full time will always have ups and downs especially when any supposed edges you think you have disappear

i have done this for 15 years, i played poker in the usa / online and i switched to sports betting about 12 years ago, there are two things i will tell you for free

nothing stays the same

if you don't change you are toast

so focus on what works and maintain that whilst you look for ways to seek new areas of income, new markets, new trading styles, new anythings until you grow something else, but the simple fact is if you mentally don't have it and can't face that constant change and evolution then this isn't for you

if you have an edge, milk it for all it's worth because as sure as eggs are eggs it'll be fecked sooner or later, if others don't find it the powers that be come along and takes a large slice of you pie in another way

also if you put it on your cv you may find the dead end jobs dont reply so no meaningless interviews but they will count to your 10 a fortnight jobsearch

Why do you not do something simple like take a holiday Moonbeam, especially abroad.

Be nice if you could get a temporary job abroad, although not so easy at your age, and there seem no jobs
anywhere at the moment.

We have mobile broadband and most hotels have Wi Fi
You could be 'Have Mobile will Travel'

Of course if you were younger you could run off and join the French Foreign Legion
but would be a bit hard at your age I feel.

A holiday is not that risky though

it's a nicey / nasty world depending on what suits them best at the given time
