The wrong un test regards the bristol landlord seemed to revolve around a crazy haircut and gutter press reports that he liked poetry. Glad he got a load of compo. Was a very eloquent speaker at Leveson too. If there was any justice the pinkshment to those papers would have been to have the papers banned from publishing for a week instead of a fine that is peanuts to them.

Not saying i agree with the sentencing there mafeking, but i think raping and killing a child is worse than raping and killing an adult.

I`m not sure it`s about what you think Rob, have a look into the case and find out, there was no mention of rape.
Huntley saw the girls and asked them to come into his house. He said that his girlfriend, Maxine Carr, their teaching assistant at St Andrew's Primary School, was in the house too. She had in fact gone to visit family in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Shortly after the girls entered his house, Huntley murdered them. Huntley's motive for killing Wells and Chapman may never be known, but minutes before seeing them he had reportedly slammed the telephone down on Carr following a furious argument; Huntley had allegedly suspected Carr of cheating on him. The police suspected that Huntley killed the girls in a fit of jealous rage. Huntley's mother also said this.[1] The police found no evidence of premeditation.[2] |

This Character and Huntley should be put down ,anyone committing those sort of crimes is beyond redemption.

i don't think they could even determine the cause of death such was the state of the bodies. remember they were missing for about 2 weeks
didn't tabak just try it on when her boyfriend was away and strangled her when she resisted ? he had fantasised about strangling women |

Yes Rob most definitely..it makes a difference to sentencing however.
Where the offender is 21 or over at the time of the offence and the court takes the view that the murder is so grave that the offender should spend the rest of his life in prison, a 'whole life order' is the appropriate starting point. The early release provisions in section 28 of the Crime (Sentences) Act 1997 will then not apply. Such an order should only be specified where the court considers that the seriousness of the offence is exceptionally high. Such cases include: a) the murder of two or more persons where each murder involves a substantial degree of premeditation, the abduction of the victim, or sexual or sadistic conduct; b) the murder of a child if involving the abduction of the child or sexual or sadistic motivation; c) a murder done for the purpose of advancing a political, religious or ideological cause; or d) a murder by an offender previously convicted of murder. |

this case is pretty rare. apparently he has no previous convictions for offences of a sexual nature. usually there's a history of offences leading to a killing

I am not talking about law ffs,I am talking about justice. Huntley should never be released. Neither should Hazell. Admittedly I dont know much about the Bristol case other than that the gutter press should have been shat on from a far higher height than they were for their treatment of someone that happened to like poetry and had an unruly hairstyle.

Cant see either of them ever being released.
Life without possibility of parole far more common in america than here. In many states first degree murder is automatic rest of natural life. Just cant see how guy like hazel could ever be trusted again even in 35 years time in his 70s. |

i doubt huntley ever will be released tbh. like hindley public revulsion at his crime will mean he'll just keep getting knocked back by the parole board when he applies
