I have no idea why the body has yet to be formally identified and to why the autopsy has been started and then delayed for days.

SH is still denying it apparently.

"Mrs Sharp said she now had no idea where Tia's mother Natalie had gone saying: 'She needed to get away.'"

Can anybody formally identify a body or does it have to be a family member?  Obviously Gran's not going to be allowed to....

NB that quote above was from Friday's Telegraph online.

Close relative. An Uncle could do it.

With SH still denying it, the autopsy could answer many questions. The whole investigation seems stagnant.

Is Tia's mum still AWOL, AG?  That would strike me as being a bit bizarre, TBH.

Presume so Latalomne.

The family are worried about the hounding now, while obviously still in shock with grief.

Unfortunately the pack mentality of facebook has raised its ugly head.

I see.  She went missing before Tia was found though.  As a parent myself, if my son was missing, there is no way in the world that I would disappear before he'd been found.  I appreciate the whole setup might be a little less than 'conventional' in this instance, however.

I dont think that she disappeared but was being supported by other relatives and friends without being blinded by the press.

Just think that she was too highly strung to do any publicity. The family kept her in the background.

That makes sense.  Cheers.

The should make it public if they dont think Christine was involved.

With SH still denying it, which was always well odds on. The police will have to liaise with Christine regarding what fabrications SH comes up with. The autopsy results could clarify the whole tragic episode, but for whatever reason its been delayed.

You have changed your tune, you were getting on your high horse when people were pointing the finger at him 3 days ago Surprised

Was there a cold water tank in the loft?

The whole family has changed their tune mate, since Tia`s body was found in the house. hth

That actually crossed my mind as well. Possibly.
By:

That may account for "human error" in not finding body on first search of the loft and also for the delay in the post mortem.Just a thought.
By:

When: 12 Aug 12 20:54
Yes you maybe correct as it could be the reason for the delay in the autopsy. 7 days of osmosis etc.

Its all very horrific.

I had thought about the water tank too.  Would there be an open tank in a London council house?
By:

When: 12 Aug 12 21:15
No idea but lots of older houses do have them.My house although not council, although don't see that that makes a difference,is over 40 years old and we have one in the loft.Come to think of it Iv'e never inspected it eitherScared

If you were looking for a body in a loft, and the said loft had a cold water tank, is there
anywhere else you would inspect first ConfusedConfused

it said on sky this morning that the body was in the neighbours loft as you could easily get from one to the other

Its a waste of time having all these tearfull press conferences, because even if you didn´t do it people will always think otherwise.

Best to introduce lie detectors into the interrogation process....saves a lot of time getting rid of the bullsh1t imo.

No plea was entered to the charge, which accuses Mr Hazell of murdering the girl between 2 and 11 August.

He confirmed his name, date of birth, and address as The Lindens, New Addington, where Tia was found dead.

Mr Hazell will appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, with a further date for a preliminary hearing recorded as 19 November.

By:

I don't want him hanged....I personally want him to serve the rest of his days in prison under constant fear of his life from inmates.....I hope he suffers horrendous pain and abuse on a daily basis....

If found guilty obviously!!!

hope he doesn't start playing the system and claiming mental health grounds.

like that bloke from Bristol, Dewani, accused of arranging his wife's murder
and is still avoiding being sent to South Africa for trial on mental health grounds.
By:

that dewani case is really taking the pi^^ss out of the justice system
By:

Why would he not enter a plea either way?  Is that the reasoning behind your point, Hound-Dog?
By:

When: 13 Aug 12 12:26
Perhaps he is waiting for the result of the autopsy before he pleads anything?
