Has anyone read about the way Hazell was spotted? You're on the run. You're trying not to be identified. So, what do you do? Well, you drop in on a shop (with CCTV!) and buy some vodka and a cigarette lighter. And then, a few minutes later, you go back to the same shop and buy, erm, more vodka and another cigarette lighter? What??? Did he make two unsuccessful attempts to set himself alight??? Why didn't he just take a running jump from a tall building?

The vodka I sort of understand (although personally I'd be trying to avoid all shops and public places, and creeping around looking instead for an obliging Bulgarian who could supply me with a fake passport..). But why two cigarette lighters??

Well I didn't have him banged to rights Clay. There wasn't any evidence I was aware of apart from the fact that he seemed a bit of an oddball - which, by itself, is no evidence at all.
On the other hand, fleeing after the body is found in your own house, when several inconsistencies in your account, and your background of crime, always pointed to you being the likely killer, offers quite good grounds. |

whatever happens regarding finding out why the police didnt get on this earlier, there is no doubt that the death of the kid is somebodies responsibility, somebody who you will likely know, and that needs to be the focal point imo |

These large families of underclass unempolyed uneducated simpletons with seemingly endless step relations and what have you seem a perfect recipe for incest and murder,tragicly awful though that seems. |

In fairness, my next door neighbour was looking for her dead cat for two months. She didn't think to look in the fern bush by her front window until my sister crept over there looking for our shuttlecock!!
Having said that, you would have thought the typical cop was rather better at finding corpses than my next door neighbour... |

Hazell a violent criminal with drug convictions - 37 looks 77 - should n't be anywhere near kids as guardian figure in the first place.
Rate reply: I actually blame the whole family ,she should never have been left with this character ,regardless of what has happened anything could have happened I.e I would imagine he would have quite a few enemies from his past imagine them turning up at the house ,who leaves their child with a nutter which is obviouisly what he is ,why was she not home with her parents.. Lets see if the gran has any previous I would bet short she has .. Tia was a lamb to the slaughter ,an extremely disturbing and upsetting case ... I ask again who would leave their daughter in the same house as this character ... sorry for the Harshness towards your wifes family angel but it is with them the blame lies .. quite unbelievable tbh ... |

Yeah Gabrial, since you're so keen to protect the family, where is the mother? The gran said earlier this week that Tia saw her house as a 'refuge' from home. A refuge from what exactly?
