I guess the old bill are bound to arrest both of them, and see who cracks first,in fairness it's madness to suggest "what happened" but sadly i spose a mix of the obvious is what will transpire.

They appear thick as mince so whether they will have an even vaguely plausible matchign alibi is unlikely."Hopefully" they will find dna on the body which will ensure a guilty plea.

A MOST UNPLEASANT time awaits both of them while on remand.

I did read a quote from the father, something along the lines of 'we all need to pull together and support each other, Im trying to keep ppl positive' etc
this was a response to the step granfather being under pressure from press b4 body found
wounder what he thinks now?

He has not been involved in Tia`s life for 7 years but wanted to do a press conference last week which never happened.

Our family connection is nothing like this kind of lifestyle. I must admit that he should never have been any kind of guardian. Christine however hard she may come across has always been sincere so i have been told.

Had she been a little 'harder' Gabrial, almost certainly that girl's life would have been saved.

The real father had moved to Northampton or somewhere a few years earlier, and so wasn't really involved with her on a day to day basis. There had apparently been some argument between them, though, when he recently tried to contact her on FB.

Honkey i cant disagree...

Too many dodgy characters have walked through her door over the years. She had been with SH for a few years. Its bad judgement.

sorry to go on, but the mother?
whats her story?

True Gabrial, but it does pose the question of why the mother and stepfather allowed their daughter to spend so much time at the grandmother's house?  If the grandmother had dodgy characters constantly walking through her door, then the parents certainly shouldn't have been letting their 12-year old daughter go over there on a regular basis.

agree Ivor ,tbh its not over I can see some comeback once all details are revealed ,her close family have no where to hide
the blame is at their door.. Plain

I doubt very much the mother will have many friends left on the estate

Would not be a surprise if some of the principles here have form regarding young girls - will have to wait until after the trial(s) though

So, police admit human error in not finding body sooner. CCDA vindicated in questioning the competence of the operation.

What if the neighbour abducted Tia ? Then put her in the Attic ?
By:

It will be interesting to see to what extent the neighbour is involved in this.

Hazell didn't seem to be exactly with it on the video, though, so I very much doubt he's innocent...

..and SH just a suggestible simpleton who got embroiled by other, worse people?  - and then when the game is up it is  he who scarpers, due to being the only one with a conscience. But he ends up looking the guiltiest.

even his so-called on-the-run event wasn't any kind of attempt to 'escape', let alone leave London.

Yes have to remember Hazel hasn't been charged. Meehan's role in all this is mysterious - what would motivate him to get involved here?

Seems most likely to me that the 2 men were both involved in abuse while Grandma was at work weekends. Pretty grim scenario I know. Sad

You are probably on the right lines that both men were at Christines that night. Getting drunk and wired they did something horrendous. Christine alibi was corroborated by her workplace yesterday, but obviously the timescale is under questioning regarding the death.

I don't see Grandma in this at all - probably just been fingered by the others. Which won't sit well when ultimately they try to convince a court Tia died by "accident".

TBH Hazell gives the impression of being a nutter not a nonse  ,how can he sit in the house knowing the body is up there
with police all over the place then gives interviews on TV ,if he knows the body is in attic he knows he will
get caught ,perhaps yesterday he has just gone out to get away from it all ,for some reason I just dont think he done it Plain..

For the families sake I hope im right ..

It's interesting that the gran has been arrested on suspicion of murder, while the neighbour has only been arrested on suspicion of assisting. It suggests that, at this point, the police think she has had more of an involvement than the neighbour.  I wonder how this'll all turn out over the next few days..  A_T's scenario certainly makes sense though.  You'd think the neighbour had had some significant involvement, unless the death was some sort of Hazellian accident, and the neighbour felt sympathy and tried to help them cover it up.

There's definitely not much logic in keeping a body in your loft indefinitely. You must know it's going to decompose...

Case

Even more unlikely Christine could sleep in the house knowing that her grandaughter was 20ft away dead in the attic.

Who was more disattached SH or the gran? SH is a con man, a thief, a violent man with a drug past. Is he more likely to spontaneously erupt violently or sexually than the gran?
By:

cant see gran involved tbh

The police obviously disagree casemoney, and we've got to assume they've got some reason for believing she's deeply involved. They're the ones with the evidence at their fingertips.

The grans DNA will be all over the house and on Tia probably because they spent time together. This could get very messy.

SH will not confess even if he did it. He is a con man.

Does anybody else not think that cases like this further enhances the belief (by a lot of people) that Madeleine McCann was murdered by her very close family,ie her parents!

Initial searches by Plod must have mirrored 'The Life of Brian' efforts of the Romans.

Probably found a spoon.

murder doesn't make you 'sad', that's - feeble. Should make you angry, which, properly channelled is a force for good.
