MT - the same thing happened to me nearly a year ago to this day (bought house together, thought all was great, happiest I'd ever felt etc etc).
She gave me some spurious chat (over the phone!)...I was completely and utterly devastated, but have now just about come out the other side. It is a huge cliche but it'll just take time, and boffing a few randoms helps too. Don't sit around yourself tonight...get out that house, go round a mate's and get a couple of beers and a natter...and sort out lots of things to do over the next wee while. Also, finally DO NOT think about trying to get her back...if she wants to she will, but try not to even contact her... |

read through the thread so far, all of my advice has proven to be absolutely spot on. on the caveat that this story is true... the sandwich/phone thing was telling for me. you need to face the fact that in essence, she liked being with you and everything, but didnt have orgasms just thinking about you all the time. it's not your fault. It IS her fault. and crucially, her **ing on you (or fooling around, or whatever), has been backed into 1.03 from 1.3. you absolutely MUST confront her about this, for your own sanity. she has strung you along and treated like a fool. feel free to grieve, you're entitled to do so. but then go berserk IMO and interrogate her about the ducks. tell her to read this thread! best advice i ever heard: "she's just a girl" |

Sorry to hear your bad news MT. Know how you feel m8 - my girlfriend of 13 years recently told me everything was completely over and I went through a week of vodka and whisky induced stupor and depression.
