Handy points wonders, also backed it ew. Holding on a bit longer for mine but looks ew if the price stays around the same.

yes extends our lead cg

17 pts wonders, better than a slap in the face with a wet fish, well done not many points yet this week. Good luck Glen if you go with yours.

another 3rd pl wd cg

Should have won easily, too far back and effort too late imo.

I have what i can only call half a fancy for one in the 4.55 GP, Saith Seren probably the softer the better for this horse who's yet to win a race but has ran some credible races notably behind Martinelli Oct 24, lightly raced and had just one run recently over 1m2 1/2fs at Dundalk under a very inexperienced jockey in a claimer it had little chance in, but at least had a blow out. Trainer hasn't had a flat winner for years and Rory Cleary had just one winner this year so far at Dundalk. Hopeful that can run on into a place 1st 4 but not enough to put in comp imo.

Well that surprised me, didn't expect it to lead but did till final furlong, weakened into 5th after finding plenty of support. Think ridden with more restraint will soon find a race perhaps at Killarney where ran 2 good races previously, shame couldn't hold on for 4th as had 33s earlier.

Gone earlier this week hoping for a change of fortune
Rastnet 7.00 Kempton is the pick, fav looks too short and hopefully Billy brings it home |
By:
Very unlucky NEC, just touched off in a driving finish by Havlin who rode a treble on the night.
By:
I an going for one in The National lads.....Got to find my lucky pin first.

Bad luck NEC you would have got any price you asked for about Rab getting a treble, law of sod. I expected you to go for the National acey so I hope you pick the one I have backed, it will hack up. Joking apart I hope the others swerve the race as we would be throwing points away with more than one selection, up to you though. Some decent races over the next 3 days and hope we can find a couple like last week which was outstanding.

Very nearly went each way Saint Segal at massive odds but decided to play a bit safer and wait till The National....Good luck lads.

Right decision I think acey, a bit short of this class but no surprise to see him outrun the odds. Aintree looks a nightmare today and nothing to do with the racing!!

Goog luck to stewarts who has gone for Jered Maddox 1742 hrs at his beloved Dundalk and has shown some recent form, would be a valuable winner to bolster our slender lead.
By:
Will put my reasons up nearer the off Glen, price has been smashed up.
By:
Smashed up is an understatement stew, if going solely by the betting he is home and hosed!!

Have gone with Jered Maddox 5.42 Dundalk 10pt win.
Was going to put this old horse up EW when i looked this AM but Winemaker has been scratched and its around 7/2-4/1 now, i was backing at 14/1 earlier but with reduction it's about 9/1 i've got now. However not worth putting up EW at current price. Jerod Maddox has plenty of course wins inc 4 times over C/D. Hasn't been running to form for over a year when last won here off a mark off 82. Runs from lowest ever mark of 57 today and showed signs of a revival lto when 3rd over 5f here. Horse was being ridden by a 10lb claimer through the winter, drawn wide and slowly away which brought the mark down from 79-63 when Mcateer took over btn just over 3 lengths off 65 over 5fs, Mcateer has won 5 times on this horse, 4 times here, horse has a good record in March/April and this isn't a great race, hopefully will justify support and come down the nearside rail to win again. |

The Cleeve Hill Mob have just gone galloping past with 20/1 winner Laafi and some places.

Great call stew, shame it got smashed up but valuable points, I managed 4/1 which was better than a poke in the eye VWD!!
By:
Cheers lads, some got 20/1 very early and backed into 11/4 fav, thought wasn't going to get a clear run but just got up in time.

By:
Best of luck Billposter, has a better chance than price suggests imo given C @ D record. Just Foyles left to top up our points.

bintsaleh 15.12 yarmouth win thanks ud toftl Foyles has picked this horse, gl Foyles. |

By:
Cheers stew, best of luck Foyles.
By:
Foyles being hammered in the betting, took 9/2 and now as short as 2s, good sign but less points if she wins.
By:
Nees Billposter to win about 12/1 to get us close to the mob.
By:
Hi lads, just a quick well done for securing 2nd place and putting us top overall. A long way to go though and odds on that one or more of the others will suddenly find their feet, if we can get in the top places each week we are currently in a decent position to give us a shout.
By:
Highbury Hill 4.30 Hexham has travelled along way for this, claimer rider does well for yard. Win bet.
By:
Good luck Barstool, i do like Nigel Hawke as a trainer, but not sure he does that well with his long distance forays but Dodd rides well certainly worth his 7lbs claim, let's hope you can get us off to a flying start.
By:
Best of luck barstool, back at a more suitable trip today. Was considering Forever My Prince 1622 hrs Leic but has drifted markedly, backed at 10s ew 3 places but only 2 for the comp so will hold fire to see if any support late.
