going to put up lough nigara e/w
is up in the weights but its not really about that with him tricky horse can dog it or outright refuse but 6/1 e/w v fair as cant be odds against to pl imo both donoghue horses front of market have question marks over them |
By:
Good luck wonders.
By:
refused
By:
right about donoghue front 2 as well taken no winning that race
By:
Bad luck wonders, not a good way to be out of a race. Most bookies refunded stakes on the race so maybe time for a look at the compy rules for refusing to race, the old adage that if you can't win you cant lose springs to mind.

Taking on the favourite in the 3.27 at Ludlow with OAKLEY'S WAY which I consider a good thing at 5/2.
Just hope the price holds. Was going to wait for Sunset Hill at Kelso on Thursday but no decs until tomorrow so gone with the bird in hand so to speak. Good luck. |

Good luck barstool (posted it on selections thread for you). Have an eye on the race after yours with Your Darling for the two Bens but sustained support for the O'neil horse tempers confidence as it has not shown much to justify it against the Pauling inmate who has run two solid races against better quality than these, money seems to speed slow nags up though as happened last week.

By:
Have backed Your Darling.
So good luck if you go for it. |
By:
Already posted on week 3 selections, but thanks anyhow.
By:
You posted on the scores thread barstool!! lol
By:
he's always been reluctant to race cg so it wasn't a surprise...just thought it was built into the price
By:
shouldn't be rule 4ing winners to pay out on horses that refuse that's my opinion

I was toying with the idea of putting up Exceeding in the first race at Navan but as 2 members of team have already picked a horse thought best to leave some Ammo for later in week.
Horse ran a belter on seasonal reappearance at Naas and showed much improved form as carried 6lbs o/w and gets in from same mark today. Think it may have been the drop in trip to 6fs and the soft ground that brought about the apparent improvement as had been running mainly over 1m on AW and on Good ground on turf. On the face of it looks to have a very good chance as horses behind that day in 3rd/4th ran well at Curragh on Saturday also 3rd and 5th both got placed at Curragh on heavy ground on Lincoln day. Expected it to be 11/4 fav but 5/1-/11/2 available now. Have backed EW 1st 4 with 356 but likely in these sprints something will surprise. Just hope it isn't Distillate or Half Nuts (jockey 1st ride on a renowned slow starter) which have both cost me dear. |

Just shortened back to 4/1 as i typed.
By:
Good luck Barstool, i see another team has picked it as well.
By:
Feel free to have a go stewarts, money now piling on mine so too short for points imo with the money for O'Neils making me less enthusiastic even though backed mine @ 11/4.
By:
Didn't notice you'd picked one Glen, Your Darling, i'll leave mine as just not sure he can replicate that last run.
By:
Just as well i didn't go with it, had a feeling might not back that last run up.
By:
looked to be favouring near side stew
By:
Doesn't really matter as rest of races on round course wonders.
By:

Shame I did not put it up but after last weeks getting beaten by a gamble I was wary.
