Good afternoon lads, as with the first round a fairly solid position but we know how quickly that changed. The very best of luck today and can a couple of you dig out a wildcard selection just in case?
As usual can you please get your selections in by 1430 hrs to give us a chance to sort a wildcard and post it before the cut off if needed. |
By:
Wild card suggestion, Dare to Shout Kelso 3.13.

Thanks barstool.

Sorry hardly been around this week. Great pick from Barstool and very unlucky 2nd from Wonders. Have been too busy recently to do any form but have plumpt for Madam Speaker in the NHF race for Henderson and Sean Bowen, gets all the allowances and lumps of weight from the favs, have gone EW. Good luck rest of team with your selections.

Early start this week and have put up PRESIDNT SCOTTIE 3.52 Carlisle.
Clearly having a practice for this over c&d last month and meets the winner that day on 11lbs better terms. Runs off 110 today and was off 125 this time last year. This very well handicapped, locally trained horse looks to have been target at this. Win bet selection and am lumping on myself. |
By:
Best of luck barstool, had looked at this race but could not decide on a bet. Regards yours, the winner from lto is not in the race so wondered where you got your figures from?
By:
Just had a look on oddschecker and it is being well backed ( 11s with 365 early hours) so you might be on the button with this being targeted, fingers crossed.
By:
Hudson de Grugy race 16th feb. HdG second off 120, now on 126, President Scottie 6th off 116, today on 110.
I meant have said the second not the winner, silly mistake. PS Clearly not off that day. |
By:
5th Never in it really. hard to come from the back in good ground races.
Better luck for everyone else. |

Never looked a threat from early on barstool as you say. Have had an eye on the 1500 hrs Kemp with the intention of putting up Rukaana but the market is dampening enthusiasm due to the money seemingly all for Largy Panic who has no form to justify support having been beaten 117 L total in 3 out of last 4 races, pulled up in the other.
Rukaana by contrast has solid form with a win and second in his last 2, the form having been boosted especially by the winner lto, the ground today much more suitable and a decent claimer negates a 4lb rise. It is a novice handicap so have to be wary of the money for one who might have been hiding some ability, that apart nothing in the race comes close to Rukaana in terms of form shown to date. Thoughts welcome? |
By:
Seems steady around 5/2 which looks more than fair unless there is a plot going on with Largy which will need to have improved 2st since lto, worth risking that is not feasible.
By:
Gone Country similarly being backed and form identical to Largy, beaten miles, strange none of the horses with any form being backed against these two.
By:
Your choice Glen, up to you but still a lot of racing to come this week, good luck if you dev
cide to go with it. |
By:
Work that out!! No cigar.

Ran well Glen but no form gamble landed, bad luck.
