Them were the days stewpot. Nice to see your still having a go. Not had a serious bet for over a year now. My mate Gary Downes invited me and Petemac to Newcastle to watch his horse run a few weeks back. It was like a morgue except for the owners and trainers part. I wont be rushing back. Hope you and the family are all doing well. look after yourself mate

Teenage Kiss 4.55 Wexford 5pts e.w good luck Tommy |

By:
It was Mom Mone .Petemacs brother in law Danny new he wouldnt be alive for the national. Any returns he had for months before , he left for Petemac to invest on MM on here, and at big prices in the shops. Not sure how many thousands he won. All of it went to Dannys family and friends. Im sure there was a big spread in one of the papers at the time. Great memories.

Made an error here, guys.
Asked undecided if I can switch to Captain Cody in the National to win as my pick. Hopefully he'll okay it. (got my competitions mixed up). |
By:
Gone with Sailor Song, 5.45 Southwell
My National three would be I Am Maximus, Jagwar and Stellar Story Good luck Thieves |
By:
Unfortunately Raspberry we'll have to go with your original pick, its clear in the rules only if your pick duplicated another team members pick, or your pick became a NR before 3pm on a Saturday, can you change.
Might be a blessing in disguise? Fingers crossed!!! |
By:
LOL sorry Raspberry Undecided has accepted your change!!
By:
Best uncross the fingers now for Bint Al Daar
By:
Thanks a lot Dessie
As you say I think as usual we will leave it with Ud, suspect your understanding will hold Sorry raspberry my National choice will be Iroko, Champ Kiely, Captain Cody Nobody has mentioned Townend riding on Grangeclare West 5 wins out of 6 rides, without him 1w in 11 runs may make late change |
By:
Johnnywho, Panic Attack, Montys Star and Final orders are my short list. I cant have Jagwar staying so given how my luck is lately it bolts up.
By:
5pts EW Duke Silver 1.20 Aintree is my selection
We're all in! |
By:
That was unfortunate jimnast rightly took on the hotpots but another 4th
By:
I wish I could say I was unfortunate. I'm getting really good at finding horses that don't pick their feet up
By:
Just to confirm I have accepted raspberrybottom's clarified selection.
I've taken it as a genuine error corrected quickly and well in advance of racing and made a judgement call. |
By:
There is a rumour the flat starts next week Dessie if that helps
Lets hope Patrick doesnt make it any worse later |

Hi guys
a bit like the National the final result didnt quite match expectations for most last week but as you can see from the tables we were not alone Once again just a 2/1 shot away from being a totally different outcome Crucial scores from Foxy & nawshan I am sure the Big meeting weeks are a bit of a distraction but unlike new National dreams we dont have to wait for another year we can start dreaming again from today What IFs are history ask Ben Jones, Patrick Mullins & Harry Skelton they are just unsettling Im sure there is lots of good news to look forward to |
By:
Btw
Congratulations to Dessie 1st & jimnast 3rd in the Big NH meeting comp Thats a long haul comp well done |
By:
Cheers skipper just looking at that final table makes me realise how useless I am at Cheltenham, yet in the nineties and naughties I wrote my own results,no truer statement in this game nothing last forever,
Well done dessie |
