So I thought jimnast/Foxy will be in attendance at Ascot once again this year Wouldnt it be nice for them to be there as Ascot Owners & give the Thieves Team a wave from the rostrum 225 horses in the Goffs breeze up sales today So trying to land 225/1 shot highly unlikely so better if we have 3 chances @ 75/1 still somewhat highly unlikely I know My offered selections narrowed down on sight from the 8 to 3 lots today Major Agents followed me in ... agreeing on 36 £78K Blackbeard / Spurofthemoment .... ..Middleham Park 59 £125K Persian Force / University ............ Amo Racing 118 £150K Blackbeard / Caribbean Princess ...... Stroud Total £353K but a 10% share in each = £35K investment ..... A Bargain !!! Even if none of the three ever reach the racecourse  Foxy better start shopping now  |

 Stewpot she certainly doesn’t need any encouragement to shop for royal Ascot ,I would imagine owning a royal Ascot winner would be the pinnacle of racehorse ownership,in fact today I go out and celebrate St George’s day and one of the party owned the 2024 stewards cup winner and has been going to goodwood for around 40 years so clearly loves the place ,the same horse won the 2025 Wokingham about an hour after the race I asked him which was the best experience he was in no doubt whatsoever this is royal Ascot nothing can compare with it was his reply. |

Happy St George’s day to all the team hopefully some will be able to raise a glass to this wonderful little island of ours and to the king and St George.
Going for a hurdler at Warwick today in the 430 Indian tiogar his pace should be an advantage at Warwick today,almost went for a staying chaser (not really my cup of tea) but trainer form put me of in the end Venetias horse in the 300. Good luck everyone  |

Best of luck for today .... cant see me posting before Saturday Yes, I have been on the sacred winners rostrum but at a Northern track Our big boy will need to improve 10lb to get into the Wokingham and then another 10lb to win it But it wont be for the lack of trying its still possible, we will settle for York in August or Portland It would be a tie that or winning this comp as the Greater Thrill  Had an unnerving experience at the sale yesterday We had just sat down & got distracted while sale the was on going I looked up & the Auctioneer looking at me saying £64K it is sir Right anyone for £66K & someone raised a finger, so he promptly looks at me £68K & its yours £68K it is then Anyone for £70K Sold for £68K At this point I realise the bidder guy was sat next to me he was congratulating the guy on the other side of him Who it turns out to be Ismaill Mohammed Lesson learnt .... spread out when there is an Auction about or get a lot closer to the Auctioneer |

Lots of concern on who is going to pay for what they has been bought
I would suggest even bigger move to syndicate ownership, hence 30% down on takings plenty of Arab money but without it plenty of cheap horses available Good luck Tommy |

Good evening All. Well that didn't go very well did it. I just watched the race and thought Beverley looked very firm. I checked the going and it says Good changing to Good to Firm after third race 2.52 so two hours later it must have been firm not suiting Hashtagnotions.
The winner has won 3 times C/D on G/Firm and one elsewhere G/Firm and is a definite top of the ground horse especially at Beverley. You will be glad I don't have any more tips till next week |

A solid 2 weeks of Team effort this week nawshan raspberrybottom & Foxy being our contributors Foxy being star of the week but the margins of victory & defeat have been very tight equally the opposition have just missed out on numerous occasions but thats all part of the comp Lets celebrate a victory & a second in the first 4 rounds of the competition against the toughest of opponents So just 8 weeks to go be a super human effort just to maintain our current position but we are all aware its our Teamwork thats pulling us through so keep it going E.W.Thieves Im off out to buy some more bold ink Newmarket, York, Epsom, Royal Ascot upcoming |

Apologies for my dreadful effort never at any stage looked like scoring us any points very well done to those contributing to the tally.
YES captain an amazing sp on strike red I hadn’t noticed the drift and was around the winners enclosure when they announced the sp plenty of others were also very pleasantly surprised by it . Some fabulous racing coming up a real treat for me and foxy tomorrow night we will see our favourite horse in training run for the first time live ,unlikely to be quite quick enough for 5 furlongs but he has made fools of people on many occasions in the past. Good luck thieves for the week ahead. |
