Morning All,
especially jimnast, we have all been there, more often than not without it getting any exposure it was just the double exposure effect so TOFTL can take advantage It simply proves jimnast your judgement was a match for any Einstein TOFTL apart it was a very moderate week for most of the other napsters Wildcard Duty note well done to raspberry for his winner Its tough enough putting up one nap so anybody on Wildcard duty can feel free to have a week off if they dont fancy anything that Saturday |
By:
Very well done raspberry and stewpot ,apologies for mine it ran a shocker stating the obvious I know but I don’t like it when they run that badly.
Dessie the air was fine whilst I didn’t have a penny on my favourite horse in training foxy didn’t let him run without having a bet ,we watched it in the betting shop at Doncaster and we were the only two people cheering when he hit the front,if the horse ran in the grand national and I pointed out to her it might not get the trip and has never jumped a fence in public it wouldn’t stop her backing him. |
By:
Thats brilliant Jimnast, well done Foxy!!! Its funny but last year two of A P O'Briens failed in the race and its repeated itself. Smashing price considering it won race last year!
By:
To be honest dessie with his course form and an ideal trip against a talking horse I shouldn’t have let it go at that price ,he often runs well in races with much more depth to them.
By:
I dont think these talking horses get enough chance to speak up for themselves
at which point I will shut up ![]() |
By:
If they could just teach them how to step out "Not Today"
would suffice |
By:
Well we have a stormy weekend upcoming
hopefully thats just a weather report They are about as accurate as me ![]() Lets hope we dont get blown off course ![]() Good Luck All |

By:

By:
Going with Vintage Clarets E/W big sprint at Musselburgh. The price 33/1 nearly put me off. Had another look at the race this morning and am very much afraid of the Balding runner but hey ho.
By:
gone for the same race as tommy with jer batt each way good 3rd last year against two group horses, hopefully the high winds dont spoil the race.
good luck team |
By:
Foxy.I'm not confident about VC as I mentioned about the price. I think the race is wide open however and it has a good draw. The winds are not due till about 5/6 o'clock so should be ok. Good luck with Jer Batt it's let me down several times in the past.

By:
PS he said that jimnast is doing a grand job keeping us in touch
Thanks to him we are only 20pts off 3rd spot ![]() |
By:
Apologies jimnast you maybe too young as well as a few others you may not remember
Jay Trump In 1963, he won his first Maryland Hunt Cup, setting a course record while defeating Mountain Dew. He won it again in1964.Later that year, he was shipped to England. He won his first race for trainer Fred Winter at Sandown on October 21, 1964. Jay Trump won two more races and finished second in the King George VI Chase as he prepared for the Grand National.[4] In 1965, Jay Trump won the English Grand National, defeating Freddy. He was the first American-owned, -bred, and -ridden winner of the Grand National. After his Grand National victory, Jay Trump went to France to run in the Grand Steeplechase.Jay Trump then returned to the United States, where he ran in and won one more Maryland Hunt Cup, in 1966 |
By:
Apologies to Freddie who also finished second the following year & unplaced Foinavon year (hmpd?)
By:
Good evening captain although I’m aware of jay trump I don’t remember the horse, first national winner I remember as a young child was red alligator, first derby winner which got me interested in horse racing was the minstrel loved the derby ever since although we desperately need a good derby around 18 runners from around a dozen stables.
By:
It was so so different then with very limited TV coverage
Derby was on a Wednesday, National on a Saturday, only saw Derby on Pathe news Sporting Chronicale with limited form and hardly any reasonable description never mind accuracy plus plenty of bookies opening as per newspaper odds and at least you only had 2 meetings to look at Nobody had any reruns to watch.... Probably went every other Saturday ...... So so different |
By:
We didnt have one trainer with 8+ horses in a race,
even had big complaints if owners had more than one in a race ..... Lol |
By:
good morning team going each way pourquoi pas papa in the 515 aintree .
