The betting seems pretty settled now barring late money and the Russel horse has been well supported but I think the mare should have the beating of that one if running to form and the jockey having the track sussed.
2/1 - 9/4 too big imo so going to take the chance on her. |
By:
that naas card had quite a few strange results form to be wary of imo
drift wouldn't bother me at all if some money late & goes off 2/1 or shorter on here gl cg |
By:
weakness continues 7/2
By:
Sorry lads, the money was right unfortunately.
By:
ran well enough Glen but thought DD was always holding on
never mind early days in this round ![]() |
By:
the 3rd horse in naas got stuffed in the north when a big drifter also
all the form that day has a funky vibe to it |

I am being drawn to Bradman Hereford 5.10, runs here instead of a 9k race at Taunton tomorrow.
Got handicapped with 3 runs under James Best, who is good at that. First run in a handicap was still there until a slight mistake at the last and it looked a better race than this modest affair. Pooroldmackley won a bad race in heavy ground last time and is a terrible price today. Bradman has won twice on the flat, rated 62. Runs off 85 over hurdles tonight so should be well able to run to that. Kevin Bishop trains at Spaxton near Taunton so must be of the view this is a better opportunity too. About 25/1 on here, bet win and place. Only 7 runners, EW or Win? Advice welcomed. |

Unlucky Cagliari, at least on a trier.

Had a glance at Bradman last night barstool, fav out of the handicap and rated 11lb behind but getting only 1lb due to the 4yo allowance. Certainly would not put you off an ew even though only 2 places. Btw if you are going to have an ew bet, 365 going 3 places @ 20s at the mo.
By:
Cheers, will put up ew.
On with Bet 365 just now at 22/1. |
By:
Good luck barstool, got the same so fingers crossed, fav looks a diabolical price.
By:
No good, need a change of strategy for the rest of the comp. Will look for something more solid in better races.
Good luck to the rest of the lads. |
By:
Glen i will be away till 5th May.
By:
Ok acey, will play a wildcard for you from one of the lads.
By:
Any volunteers for the wildcard lads? Can be today or tomorrow.

Thinking of putting up Wa Wa at Perth 3.52, know this horse from Ireland 2 years ago when won 2 big field h'caps over 2m4fs and 3m from 92/100, think may be quirky as raced behind and wide both races giving up lots of ground but won easily. Went up 22lb for 2nd win so didn't fool h'capper even though won by only just over a length.
Revised rating was too much but back down to 108 ran 2nd at Rosscommon over 3m last August btn 3 lengths on Y/soft ground. Moved to Olly Murphy yard and after being heavily backed ran 2nd running on from behind at MR over 2m4fs from 110, ran poorly at Fakenham since after leading a small field early. Murphy has a great record at Perth and had 3 winners, 1 second, 3 3rds from 13 runners this week. He's booked decent 7lb claimer Lewis Saunders to ride, hoping he's held up on his own to come wide into the straight as his claim puts Wa Wa on virtually his last winning mark, Murphy also runs the current fav but thinking of going EW with this one, thoughts please. |

Could not write it off stew as Fakenham probably did not suit, Market Rasen run was fair in the context of this and having had a wind op could be the time to catch him. Good luck if you have an ew and if backing him,365 going 4 places.
By:
Only noticed had wind op after last run already posted up. Yes i think he's quirky and doesn't like to be amongst horses but has a good turn of foot and hopefully didn't like leading round fakenham, will put up EW as typed all this up, was fav at Fakenham so hopefully Murphy has looked at his best runs when held up and will revert to those tactics today.

I got 100/8 earlier, backed into 15/2, which at least doesn't make me feel so bad about not posting yesterdays 15/2 winner Bravious.

sandown good punting card felt like mullins overbet in most races
pic d'orhy in oaksey chase intermediate trip, good ground, right handed, off a break suit him down to the ground be my best bet tomorrow select hurdle nothing celebration chase ground wrong for mullins jonbon 8/11 v fair will probably play unless weak on here late whitbread resplendent grey 8/1 5pl 1lb wrong but cheltenham form looks good, take mullins horses out there's fair amount of rammel in this be lucky whatever you put up lads |
By:
With a plethora of races today I've managed to whittle it down to two horses English Oak and Arkinthestars I've decided to go with a better price horse each way
Well Done lads ![]() |

Good morning lads, acey is absent until 5th May so get studying for a wild card, does not matter if you are picking your own today, all suggestions welcome and if early enough we can discuss. Wonders, I will be steering clear of Sandown, a joke as far as betting goes thanks to Mullins. Not much hope for punters when the so called genius does not even know his own chances.
I will be about before cut off time but if for any reason I get waylaid just go ahead and post the wildcard about 1445 hrs with the word wildcard and (acey). Back later to check out these wildcard selections. |
