Billposter has gone for English Oak ew at Haydock, good luck mate.
By:
Think i've probably used up my good fortune this week with 3/3 horses posted winning, so someone else can choose the wildcard.
By:
Don't be negative stew, play it up whilst you are in form. Only two I have seriously considered for my compy are Renato in the first at Haydock @ about 9/1, 2 places and Lucky Place at Sandown where Mullins has only the fav in the race. I think Lucky Place has plenty in his favour dropped back in trip and down in grade.
Renato looks fairly solid ew in the context of the race but with only 2 places against big stables not a big stakes proposition but also had a bit @ 39/10 1/4 ew extra with 365. Lucky Place would be my wildcard pick so any thoughts? Btw wonders 365 going evs Jonbon for £40 if you have an account. |
By:
well done stew and all will post one later good luck.
By:
Just yourself and NEC to pick Foyles, no pressure!! lol 365 seeming generous today with evs Jonbon, had the £40, have you had a bit Foyles? Also let me have 5/1 Renato 3 places. My wife is in Rome for the weekend so letting me loose with no handing out jobs to interrupt.
By:
Classic Getaway would be my ew shot in the 2.25, fresh horse in a race one or two are likely to have had enough for the season.
However with my run so far, probably best ignored as a reserve poke. Good luck today. |
By:
haven't yet on jonbon Glen but the missus will I expect , club class ew 16.55 haydock ew ....good luck all .

Oisin Murphy could have a few winners at Leicester hopefully Ornately 3.45 will be one of them
very good record for stable and though his Wolverhampton win doesnt amount to much and he's up 4lb there is more to come for this lightly raced sort will go ew at about 5/1 Sergeant Wilko would be my wildcard selection again Murphy and he's 2-2 on horse definite concern about ground but could improve more this year, Stewart deffo the man in form tho! I wont be around at cut-off time Glen so maybe Stewart or Foyles if they are around? |
By:
thought club class would go off a big price still might , was 16s when i put it up

By:
Could be an omen Foyles, we seem to get scalped on price when we get a winner, fingers crossed. Inclined to go with NECs Sergeant Wilko ew at the price for the wildcard as don't think the ground will be too much of an issue?
By:
looks like we need the skeleton man to have a good day!
By:
Gone with NECs ew next at Leic, good luck all today.
By:
Just NEC to go isn't it, could do with some points, think we've dropped to 2nd but very close between all teams this week, good luck NEC.
By:
See Foyles has a runner to come as well, need some points chaps, 3rd now.
By:
Good luck and fingers crossed for both.
By:
A few much needed points from Foyles, well done.
By:
I thought English Oak had an excellent chance to improve considering the company he kept last season unfortunately I think the handicapper may have found his mark One to consider next time
Well Done lads ![]() |

Not a big fan of fillies handicaps but I think Lady Ridgewood could be well in 1605 hrs Brighton , her opening mark of 79 looks fair in the context of this race as she has progressed in each of her three runs. Her run at Newbury lto has been boosted by the third albeit in a four runner race, however she won by 11L over 1.5f further.
The fav is a 4 year old rated 83 but has to give Lady Ridgewood 19lbs and this will be her first run on turf and with Jack Doughty claiming 3lb she looks up against it if Lady Ridgewood shows even minimal improvement. She can front run and could take some pegging back at this track, tbh I don't get the betting on these terms despite the fav running well in a valuable AW race at Lingfield, is she 22lb better based on that? Thoughts and opinions welcome lads? |
By:
Going for her in the hope we get 5/2 or better, got 11/4.
By:
Good luck Glen, only just come in, couldn't say anything can't stand Brighton or Bath, lets hope it's a winner.
By:
I think the drop back to 5f will suit Fletcher's Flight (Ascot3.23). Big striding, improving horse will love the track and ground. Top jock booked so lots to like. Should be about 3/1 so going with a win bet.
By:
Good luck Barstool and Wonders who has posted selection on undecided selection thread but not on here, we need some decent priced winners now, with someone getting a 20/1 winner on Sunday.
By:
He's gone for Divine Comedy 2.15 Ascot, win bet.
By:
was watching end of the snooker just wanted make sure posted early enough
By:
ran well in the further flight got fitness edge over coltrane & jockey upgrade after apprentice couldn't claim lto
5/2 too big |
By:
run of race no excuses
By:
One of those things Wonders, went no pace did they, had a crafty bet on Yashin IR at 27 whilst my luck is in.
By:
No worries wonders, good luck barstool.
By:
Last.
So called top jock was late removing the blindfold. No chance after. Sums my luck up this month. |
By:
Luck goes in cycles in this game barstool or so it seems, did any of you see Wee Mary rearing up at Ayr the other day? Same as when we wanted her for a winning round.
Don't forget you can all have a bid for the wildcard this week even if you have had a go. |
By:
Thanks for the kind words, you are of course correct about good runs and bad ones. Maybe a change of month will help. Fingers crossed for that.
By:
14.20newmarket ..port light ew thanks ud.
By:
Good luck Foyles, that's the sort of price we need to close the gap.
By:
Not far off the places Foyles, bad luck.

Good morning lads, last day of the round with 4 selections left. The important thing today I think is to acknowledge that we are playing for second place at best probably and I think that should be our aim as the round leaders will still be behind us overall if we can consolidate decent points. There is little between the others and us and points today could be crucial by the end which is what counts so going for outsiders to try and catch the leaders is not the way to go imo.
As always though it is down to you lads, we need a wild card so a couple of selections please, even if you have had a go or still to pick. If we can have a couple of suggestions up early enough we can have a few opinions and decide. Best of luck today with picks and punting. |
By:
My wildcard selection would be Crimson Advocate who goes over a mile for only the second time on her third run since arriving from the USA, she was beaten a nose lto at Kempton. Rab Havlin rides again and he knows Goodwood as well as anyone and she will need to handle the track, Rab is a great teacher so I would hope she will be fine.
By:
I was going with the 2000 Guineas but I change my mind you know what happens when you change your mind
![]() Well Done lads |
By:
Worth considering also is Romeo Brown 7.40 Hexham, well handicapped and basically just out speeded in last couple of runs. Step up in trip will help tonight.
By:
Billposter has gone for Dolce Courage 1750 hrs HQ ew. Thanks barstool, I agree with that, back up in trip and has won over further and having some recent form, better price than my fancy as well.
By:
Going to go for Tony Montana (win only) 3.55 Goodwood
Michael Bells horses in v.good form and this one has won fto in past Rossa Ryan decent jockey booking and has gone well over CD last year. Wildcard selection at a price would be Cogitate 5.50 Newmarket very lightly race this one ran ok from a poor position in Spring Cup Rob Hornby takes over and a more prominent showing likely imo. gl with other selections chaps ![]() |
