Thinking of putting up Treasure Fleet in the last at HQ despite the seemingly poor form of Godolphin. Should be suited by the step up in trip and first run on turf and has recent form which could be in his favour fitness wise.

Any thoughts welcome.

Hopefully best(ish) for last for me gone Wee Mary 8.30 Wolves

just ran out of steam lto at Southwell on hdcp debut after an absence, well drawn and Kaiya Fraser who is a decent jockey imo
comes here for only ride of the night - fav looks short to me so have gone win as we might need pts and ew wouldnt be enough (rough 7-8pts if placed)

Considering putting up Fiver Friday in the 1st at Kelso but can't fathom why she is on the drift so much or why Double Digits has been backed into odds on. She won 1st time over timber beating 19 others in Ireland and she was rated 90 on the flat winning 4 times (88 now). Double Digits has been hammered a long way before finishing 2nd to Matwana and then winning a 5 runner race at 2/7.

Even the Matwana form does not make him an odds on shot and the mare should beat him imo, the betting suggests she may end up a non runner rather than a leg falling off but if she runs then the price 2/1 is too big.

Thoughts welcome?

Should win getting seven pounds off Double Digits.

On a personal note I am going to have a sneaky place only bet on Top Flight Century in the same race, ran well first time here over hurdles and might cling on to a place over two furlongs shorter today.

Good luck Cag.

hi Glen looks a 3 horse race, but that is a nasty drift on Fiver Friday all the same

not really my kind of race, the Lucinda Russell runner is a class dropper
not without a chance with talented claimer negating the penalty for winning at Ayr

however Double Digits form while not spectacular is solid its ptp runs have yielded some decent sorts (Primroz and Minella Rescue)
close second at Newcastle has worked out well with horses in behind winning or placing, the winner found step up in class too much at Cheltenham
but placed in a listed race at Doncaster previously (though that was weak enough for class bar winner) DD won an egg and spoon race easily enough lto and overall that might be good enough for this lightly raced individual to follow up (imo of course)

Thanks for your thoughts lads, not sure what is going on with the betting, went 9/4 and now 13/8 in places. I get your view NEC but tbh I am not convinced the Matwana form will be replicated but could be that is the reason for the betting. Even so the mare had decent flat form and beat as many others as DD has met in her first run over hurdles and getting 7lb + 3lb claim DD would need to run to that form imo.

Will keep an eye on the betting and make a decision closer to the race, backed her @ 15/8 bog so committed anyway.
