Good luck Billposter.
Hope you had a bit on the Fontwell horse Cag. |
By:
Good winner Barstool too short for me and probably too short for comp this week, hope you won plenty as sounded confident.
![]() A few decent priced winners for other teams today so although have a few in mind for Dundalk will probably have to go with a win bet which isn't really my thing, i have a few around the 7/2-5/1 mark but with others winning not much point going EW on any of them. There is a big outsider in the 6.00 i could put up EW but could fade out of the places late on, just read rules for 12 runners 1/4 odds 1st 3, was hoping would be 1st 4 as 356 and others going, may chance it as looks sure to lead and has a good apprentice taking a chunk of weight off. The others i'm struggling to pick from at similar prices are Temperance, Mullacash Buzz and Sottsands. |
By:
OK, going for Mullacash Buzz in 7.00 Win, 4 time C/D winner, only btn 1/2 length here in Feb, has a 10lb claimer replacing a 5lb claimer and shouldn't be far away.
By:
6.00 outsider is No Speed Limit, usually bombs out and tries to hold on, has folded late on recently but on a really low mark with Nicola drawn 2 should lead again, hopefully will go a fair bit shorter IR, if can reproduce Feb run on Valentines day would have a good chance.
By:
Didn't bomb out as usually does, raced with more restraint, challenged on far side 1f out but faded again, touched 8 IR from about 60 on the off, still have a chance in the comp.

By:
MB 2nd oh well.
By:
Didn't expect him to go off so quickly, maybe jockeys inexperience cost him.
By:
Unlucky stew.
By:
I've made my choice as it's early in the season E/W bet is there a fourth place?
Well Done Lads ![]() |
By:
Same as usual lads, no need for windmill tilting in week one even though a few good winners elsewhere. Only 3 places Billposter, good luck with Ebt's Guard , 1512 hrs Newb.
Same old re- wildcard if anyone has a fancy just in case, best of luck. |

Going for The Kniphand in The Scotish National lads....All in.

By:
Was going to go for Cogitate in the Spring Cup but will leave that now Billposter has picked one ew in race
Going to switch to Rashabar who I think should be fav 9/2-5/1 looks a good price to me on its 2yo races stable form is a concern as Meehan not noted for early season winners but he doesnt often get one as good as this imo going win only as I believe it wins or bombs ![]() gl with other selections chaps ![]() |

Saracen 14.35 ew

Thinking of putting a horse up at Tramore as an EW selection about 13/2 just looking for opinions anyone looking in.
San Aer is the horse in question, always looked better on heavy ground on flat but wasn't getting home over hurdles 2m on heavy ground but has ran a couple of decent races over hurdles on Good ground, esp when 3rd to Samui. Ran in the irish Lincoln again this year 10th, a race that usually produces lots of subsequent winners. This years race again working out well with Orandi nearly doing the Lincoln double. Indigo Five in 4th followed up returned to Curragh confirming form with Fort Vega 6th in Irish Lincoln. Ephesus just in front of San Aer won a maiden hurdle nto by over 7 lengths rated 120. San Aer rated 84 on flat should be able to find a hurdle race from 101 imo. Against it are State Man half brother who has just ran in 2 NHF races and an ex Danish horse, won 2 races, thought San Aer looked a decent EW shout. |

By:
its a good e/w race stew so if you fancy it stick it up
By:
maybe wait see if cromwell horse any late money
By:
Looks nailed on for a place at least.
Might put one up in the 3.50 at Tramore, know horse is fit and fancied today. Could be a decent ew shot. Will post nearer race time. |
By:
carnage in 1st race fav seemed to jump ok then came down, horse on outside jumped a little steep but not too bad & came down
be layers card short imo |
By:
Can't see this danish horse being up to the original Dunkirk, champion 2m chaser. Soir De Garde could be a lot better than these but hasn't actually jumped a hurdle in public and plenty of top horses have close relatives that were nowhere near as good, Though would be support for Kasanova from Elliott yard if any good, so will put San Aer up and hope to get my first points on the board.

By:
cromwell v weak looks a fair bet e/w SA
By:
gl stew
By:
fav canter
By:
San Aer weakened out of it again, maybe should stick to the flat as just doesn't get home, Fav won easily, Tina Turner put up a good run though, sorry guys.
By:
Close Enough 3.50 Tramore.
Expect be ridden up with the pace, good quick hurdler. Might take some catching around here. Each Way Selection, |
By:
Disappointing run, only 5th.
The losing run goes on. |
By:
Not to worry lads, you are not alone and sure you will hit a few at some point. Went through Muss with wins and places in all races bar one where my horse was withdrawn, law of sod when a compy winner is elusive. Still six picks to go so we could do ok this round thanks to Billposter and Foyles getting points, chins up!!
By:
hexham 3.48 halfway house lad up 5lb but don't think its weights & measures with him bigger field is bit of a concern might be contested pace but 3/1+ is fair to find out
