Just reread rules, it's the actual selection you can't duplicate not the same race, my fault. Good luck lads.

Thanks guys was at football so nice surprise going home from a win to boot!
Think we need to be clearer about picking no more than two in a big race ie National next Sat. and Glen possibly a cut-off of 2.30 on a Saturday then we post any wildcards, I should be around for next few Saturdays so can help out if needed. Good start to round 2 though! |

Good morning all, I think yesterday was a get out of jail day thanks to you NEC. I had a busy morning dismantling a huge chicken coop and run, end of an era as I could no longer manage, the chap who helped has finally retired aged 96 so they all went to a new home. Unfortunately cost us a pick as I had not realised barstool had not posted and too late to scroll down for the suggested wildcard, even then bang on 1500 hrs I was too late picking one off the betting show on the tv.
I agree with the cut off time unless given advanced notice of a late pick, it would also help if we had a volunteer or two for the wildcard with a second selection posted on here and if for any reason I am not about just post the selection about 1455 hrs? Again I agree NEC, we should have no more than 2 picks in the GN, cannot think of any reason I will not be around but any help keeping an eye on things always welcome, stewarts did yesterday but I let him down, won't happen again. I will be absent on two Saturdays in May, 24th and 31st as I will be in the air to and from Scotland so it would be handy if somebody could keep an eye out. Good luck for the new week and fingers crossed for a decent showing from us. |

Hi lads, thinking of putting up Ideal Des Bordes 1555 hrs Kemp. Pulled up lto but that was over half a mile less and tbh I was surprised he ran in the race. Previously his trainer stated that 3 miles and good ground was what he had been waiting for and he duly won his first chase.
Has had a wind op since pulling up and hopefully that and the return to further can see his progress continue, currently around 5/2 which is fair if all is well. Any thoughts or opinions welcome. |

Looks to have a very good chance off bottom weight.Worth chancing.

1st race ludlow mister cessna getting a lump of weight from bond broker
no chances in fred winter lto if pumpkin horse ran in county hurdle would have been lapped as well take that run away they bet a lot closer than 4/7 & 2/1 |

Good luck wonders, must have a shout getting 13lb given only 4lb behind on ORs.

I like the jockey booking and first time cheek pieces for Culligran 4.15 Ludlow. The fav is a bit of an unknown, but the selection gets 16lb from it. I am confident it will see the others off. They say never be afraid of one horse. So a win bet.
|
|
By:
Good luck wondersobright.
Will have a little double on both selections. |
|
By:
cheers
the fav in 4.15 race MR win was funky day plenty of upsets & unusually big distances...form to be v wary of imo |

Not to worry barstool, at least it was obviously trying. Gone for one on the AW for a change, Paradoxical 1800 hrs Chelmsford. Should have a big shout in current form and caught close home by an improver lto, dropped 2lb here and as long as avoiding traffic should go close.

Nearer last, trapped wide but don't think would have won anyway, sorry lads.
