Been really busy with real life problems, haven't had much chance to look at the racing but am thinking of going with French Dynamite in the X country 2.30 Punchestown possibly EW but think we need the points and if only placed would only be about 11 pts, may go Win only. If you think differently let me know but still looking at cards.

No point in chasing leaders stew so any points to secure 2nd or 3rd a better way to go.

Afternoon fellas, well a poor 2nd week left us with just a point, let's hope we fare better this week. Was half tempted to put up a selection today at Sligo but would be a pretty big price and a sort of left field pick so probably best to wait till later in week for something with a bit more substance. Will post my thoughts up 10 mins before race if anyone interested.

Horse that interests me is the bottom weight No Speed Limit has no weight at all, well drawn a fast starter who might just hold on, stablemate Hezahunk could also be finishing well but doesn't have a great draw but again no weight. Will be backing NSL to hopefully lay in running much shorter. Have NSL backed at 36/38/46 hoping will go single figures but will have some back at around half the odds.

Didn't appear to want to get into the lead today, met traffic problems around bend and in straight and ran on for 5th, no good for me, Hezahunk up with leader held on for 3rd. Glad i didn't post it.

Setting off for Kelso races at 9.30 so have been on the card last couple of days. Susan Corbett has a great record here and has 3 live chances this afternoon the best of which could be Wee Alki in the first. Looks bound to improve stepped up in trip and will be my selection this week. Have a feeling the handbrake could come off Lone Star in the 3.25 but decided to risky to put up.

Very best of luck to barstool at Kelso, has a very decent chance. Also considering one in the 1635 hrs, Milajess, backed her last night as expected fair support for her but she is only 2/1 from 9/4. The fav has drifted to 6/4 from evs and it does look to be between them, little between them on form and ratings and it was the 7lb claim that swayed me as the jockey gets on very well with her.

I've put up bob mali 3.40 chester all the 9/4 yesterday gone but still a strong bet imo low draw big +ve main market rival drawn wide, ran 2nd to horse is likely pattern class @ craven meeting surely well in off this mark |

Barstool was very unlucky, mugged on the line despite a terrific ride. Good luck wonders, been hammered in the betting. Milajess seems to have settled and unless late money we should get 2/1 or better so will put her up.

Gone for Angel Shared EW 1.30 Chester.
A Harry Angel filly improved throughout last year going up 10lbs in ratings, a fast filly who likes to lead and drawn in 4, has had a pipe opener at Beverley Stiff 5fs and only gave way 1/2f out. Surrounded by other fast horses in low draws but do think has an EW chance about 15/2. Stephs dad used to get a few h'cap winners at this meeting and sure she'd like to break her duck here, Egan rides. |

ok ditched the shortie as my record with favs is abysmal it would have been Cathedral 3.35
but going to go for Bajan Bandit 3.20 Haydock trip 4-9, OR80 last wins etc all seem to point towards a big run stable is a conumdrum but get there share of winners |
