Hi Cag,

Maybe we should have a rule between ourselves that we do not have more than one poster in a race this year as happened last time.

Barstool I'll try to avoid other people's selections if possible
All of my choices will either be on the all weather or the turf when it starts

Good Luck Everybody Grin

Good morning all. I think that could be a useful guide barstool, maybe an exception if someone had a biggish priced ew and we had 2 in the race but max in a race?

The official cut off time is 1500 hrs Sat but to make sure we have time to allocate wildcards I suggest our own cut off as 1400 hrs unless anybody gives notice that they are hanging on a bit later?

Great to see you all back and a warm welcome to wondersobright.

Good morning lads for day one of what I suspect will be the main focus for the compy this week. I was tempted to put up Constitution but odds on not my bag for compy's, if he drifted to evens it would be a different story. Got 6/4 with one 365 account but only to £40. I just can't get enthused by the mare and have a feeling lto was a Harbinger type result although tbf she gets the chance to prove it was no fluke.

Good luck if you are putting one up today and don't forget you can have ew if you wish, UD has altered the places for ew to reflect the way the books operate, so to the advantage of everybody, check on the rules if needed.

A 1.01 shot stewarts, very unlucky tbh. Confirmed my gut feeling about BDA lto and showed that Mullins knew what he was doing.

Try some Astral cream acey, my wife tells me it is better than some she pays 100 euro for and tbh I never see wrinkles on her arse and I see more of that than the other side these days so it must work.

Good luck Acey with Stumptown, beat all comers this season and must have a Favs chance even from top weight, i thought Vanillier looked back to something like its best when hacking up lto, stablemate of Stumptown would be an EW bet for me. Might do a RF with yours.Grin

I am glad ZAIN NIGHTS has sneaked into the Pertemps off bottom weight, goes well here, wants this ground, vastly under rated trainer, sp likely around 25/1 so gone ew 5 places.

Best of luck barstool, tidy price. I did notice somebody went ew on a 2/1 shot, what is that about?

Debating Highland Fashion 1542 hrs at Hex, currently 5/1. The dilemma is the fav who I think has a strong chance and odds on, that said Highland Fashion has a piece of form which imo is comparable to what the fav has achieved. He finished 2nd in a £16 K bumper at Kelso albeit a huge price.

The winner of that race though has since won his last two, the latest a £43 K hurdle at Haydock in January so the form has been well franked. That said Highland Fashion has not really kicked on since but I think todays trip and ground should suit better than the heavy lto. Bred and owned by the trainer and a partner I suspect he will be for sale so getting a win a priority I would think.

Any thoughts or opinions on whether he is viable for the compy as a win or ew welcome?

Not sure what the Baratablet form is worth tbh. Both your own fancy and The Clonmel Kid have better Racing Post ratings.

Worth taking on the fav for the value aspect with one of those imo.

Good luck.

Big drifter barstool,13/2. Can't see why there is so much support for Wise Move which seems to be the reason for the drift as opposed to the fav who seems uneasy, will monitor for a while and maybe go ew if looking to go off around the price it is now.
By:

When: 13 Mar 25 15:11
The betting is all over the place, fav 4/9 in places but 8/11 as well. Going to play safe and go ew and hope at least 5/1 on the selection given the support for Wise Move.
