Well done Foyles, a winner is a winner and not many points this week so far.
By:
My pick ran pretty well and looked to have a place chance but weakened inside final furlong to be 8th of 18. Never mind hardly anything in the scores 1st week, all to play for in 2nd week.

Good morning lads and well done Foyles, keeps us within touching distance. At least we have points this week and you all know we need more but so do all the others, nothing in it for this round. I am in Bonny Scotland and frozen but a thaw is on the way so maybe a bit of inspiration might be as well
Advice from Rico in his trolling, just pick a market mover the night before, easy tbf if you Knew which one of 30-60 or more each day!!! LOL |

Fancy White Birch to turn the tables with Los Angeles today probably be 5/2-11/4, if 2nd or 3rd place points only about 7.5 pts, so i thought best to go win only.
By:
A reasonable selection stewarts, should have come on for the run as much as if not more than the fav, good luck mate.
By:
good luck stew fancied anmaat for that but we don't need 2 pops in one race so will keep powder dry !
By:
Didn't get the best of runs but for me Keane had him too far back, unlucky Foyles, looked the winner but LA proved too strong in the finish.
By:
Just watched the replay and have to say White Birch was given a poor ride imo, yours ran well Foyles, hope you had it ew.
Considering Giovanni Change in the first at Huntingdon, been chasing but bang in form and as good a hurdler as any in this field, got top weight but may well be up to giving the weight away. Has drifted markedly from 13/8 > 3/1 but the same thing happened yesterday with my compy selection which bolted up. Similar scenario today in the fav being heavily supported, mainly due I think because of the 8lb claimer who was originally jocked up. Now no claim so possible Giovanni is good value at 3s even giving 12lb, any thoughts before I decide? |
By:
Ignore the bit about the jockey on the fav, RP have changed it back to the original 8lb claimer.
By:
No good i'm afraid, betting was ominous but even the fav failed, stone last, sorry lads.
By:

By:
Unlucky lads, still a few bullets left.
By:
Gone for Perfidia 4.55 Redcar. Unlucky not to have won yet but the handicapper has been kind and pretty much left his mark alone, decent chance today. Win bet, hoping for about 2/1.
By:
Only 4th, every chance, not good enough. Price 11/8 poor as well.
By:
military order 19.35 sandown 10 pts win.
By:

By:
C'est la vie fellas, we're not having any luck just now, let's hope remaining pickers can do better than we have so far.
By:
Good luck tomorrow lads, hope to look in and see some points sometime in the evening!!

Posting early this week as off to Malta for a bit of sunshine tomorrow.
With 3 front runners in the 2.25 Brighton the race could be set up for a closer so gone for Bear to Dream (win). Good luck all. |

Have a great holiday barstool and best of luck today.
By:
Thank you.
By:
VWD barstool, good start for the team. Shame about the SP as I got 10/3 but valuable points to take on holiday!!
By:
Cheers, thought the jockey was going to make a mess of it. Won nice, shame about the sp. On at 4/1 this morning.
Good luck to rest of the lads. |

Good morning lads. Considering putting up Maggies Boy in the 1630 hrs at Southwell and varies from 5/2 to 7/2 at this time. He drops back to 2m 4.5f today having run a couple of solid races over further, being beaten on the line over 2m 6f lto at Cartmel. I think today he may be kicked on at around 2 or 3 out could stay on well enough to win.
The fav is a Skelton horse returning from over 500 days off and as always difficult to predict what to expect, either bolt up or blow out and at the price worth taking on imo. The second favs form figures look ok on paper but he looks a weak finisher so far and might be hard pushed to get on terms with the selection if Quinlan kicks on as expected. I would hope for an sp of 5/2 or better so not bad points if he wins, any thoughts or opinions before I decide to put it up for us welcome. |
By:
As you say the problem is the trip, looks better over further. Don Virginia looks a threat.
Flying out of Liverpool at 2.55 gives me a bit of time for a bet. Good luck all. |
By:
Big drift to 5/1 and weak, backed ew with bog but not looking like a selection for us.
By:
Well done Barstool have a nice holiday.
By:
Out to 6/1 so not going to put it up for us, law of sod though?
By:
gone for milajess @ uttox today
fav vulnerable with quick turnaround imo also had quite a lot of racing this summer milajess well treated on fakenham form other than those 2 looks a poor race imo 5/1 fair |
By:
Tempted to put up Distillate 6.35 Fairy, appears to be running into form and certainly a mark he's capable of winning from, but rather worried about the 1 stall today, might have a little bet for an interest but doubt i'll put in comp, due to having never ran here and a higher draw may be better.
By:
Got boxed in on rail with nowhere to go but once extricated ran on well for 3rd, will be winning soon imo.

I assume CagliariG you need an explanation for my choice in the Derby jockey owner price Tornado Alert E/W if Tornado Alert comes in I'll be a hero otherwise
