Only just seen later results, so belated congrats to Billposter again who looks to be keeping us in the competition virtually on his own, vwd. The rest of us need to raise our game for final weeks, remember its F/N points that count.

As Ryan Moore had already nearly won the Lockinge Stakes for the trainer earlier in the day I didn't have much hope for my chances in the last so I'll take a breath today

put up lope y linda e/w 2.15 redcar
run well twice from bad draws redcar 1st time high no good winner won lily agnes ok form, 2nd time bev high no good winner run 4th in marygate big switch in draw today stall 1 expect might try go across as even though railed off far side still looks favoured to me based on evidence this year 16/1 e/w dead 8 lovely |

Best of luck wonders, extra furlong should suit and experience a plus in this type of race. Put up Mostar Dreams 1530 hrs Carl in my own compy and considering it for here. Ran a solid race lto which was 1st for new stable, has form over C & D but slightly concerned if Mulrennan holds her up too far back and finds traffic. Can't seem to land on the right one for here despite being over 50% in my compy!!

Well done Cagliari G.
Thought the slow start had scuppered it. |

Well done Glen, won easily, good to get some pts on board early this week.

Sorry stew, no points, I got sidetracked forgot until too late, law of sod!! On the bright side I got 7/2 last night but no consolation for us.

Well done Glen and Bill.

Apologies for forgetting yesterday, got busy. I put up Gincident last night at 11/4 and he has shortened to 9/4 which imo is still fair. Having only his second run at the trip following a decent run lto over C @ D, today wears the hood and tongue tie combination for the first time and not much improvement needed if it works.
Unless shortening too much he looks worth a go for us, I will not forget today. Any thoughts or opinions welcome including the price? |
|
By:
Gone for him, just hope for 2/1 or better.
|
|
By:
Apologies Glen, thought you'd picked yesterdays for the comp, don't really bother with AW at Lingfield but best of luck with Gincident. Not named after your favourite tipple is it, thought you'd be a whiskey man McCallum or similar.

Never even noticed it's a turf meeting, well done Glen stayed on strongest.

As a matter of interest i was toying with the idea of putting up Blue Wood yesterday, didn't but as i would have gone EW at 9/1, it occurred to me that i would only have got 14 pts for coming 2nd, the same return as a 2/5 winner. So really imo anything under 20/1 at 1/5 odds is going to return a measly amount of points if only placed equivalent to an Even money winner or under, food for thought.

Relieved!! I get point about ew for here stew, not worth it unless in a position where needing to nick points to jump a place toward the end of the round, amazed that some go ew on 5/2 shots for this compy tbh.
You are right about Macallan, my mothers business was distilling so runs in the family. My brother is involved in distilling since he retired and they hope to have their first batch in the cask by October, single malt which will be at least 5 years for bottling but most 8 years and beyond.Odds on that I will never get to taste it though. As said previously, I won't be around this Saturday or the next around the cut off time so if you and the lads could keep an eye on things I would be grateful, we don't want to miss the deadline. |

A little bird tells me Dannick 5.05 KP will go well.
Good luck. (Posted as a win bet). |

By:
Good luck with Dannick, Barstool. Should we all lump on after what the little birdie told you.

By:
Would never advise anyone to lump on stewarts but had a decent bet for me.

Good luck today lads, don't forget I won't be around for the cut off time so please keep an eye open for anyone still to post around 1430 hrs and prompt them and prepare for a wild card, must be posted before 1500 hrs.
|
|
By:
Acey, Foyles and Stewarts still to post.
Suggest Vroomoz Eile 5.05 Cartmel for a wild card if needed. |

Have't had much time this morning, gone for No More Porter in the 4.15 Curragh EW, generally runs well here with 3 wins and numerous places over a variety of trips, think has an EW chance at a decent price.
