Going each way on Damysus ew.(Dante Stakes) York 3.45.

Made up quite a bit of ground on the leaders last time and not punished to do so. Hopefully a lot more to come today.

Good luck barstool. Considering either Chichester or Evaluation at Perth, both same connections and identical flat rating which have yet to be replicated over timber. Chichester was held up lto and suffered interference twice, Evaluation held up lto and given far too much to do but only just failed, both ridden by Patrick Wadge today.

Both should be better than shown so far and if ridden more prominently should be competitive, the dilemma is the betting as both drifting, Chichester 3/1 > 6/1 and Evaluation 9/4 > 10/3. Backed them ew and ew double with 365 going 3 places Evaluation.

Any thoughts or opinions welcome before deciding if either is a bet worth putting up.

Drift is too big for Chichester so looking like Evaluation, law of sod if the first one wins!!

Chichester just wants this run for a handicap mark and that would be my worry knowing this yard. Evaluation looks the better option, but Russell also has the well handicapped Cuban Cigar in the same race which makes it a tricky choice.

Good luck where ever you go.

The drift told the story barstool, ran ok until the blunder. Did look at Cuban Cigar but concluded it should not be good enough even with the drop in the weights, Evaluations first handicap could be the time to catch it but needs a more prominent ride. Looks like 5/2 or better so will put it up, fingers crossed, we need some points.

The captain always goes awol after a dire "selectin", supposed to lead from the front not skulk off!!

The vice captain should organise a coup.

He should use his £600k betting system for his selectins imo

Not awol Bisto Boy, you should take up residence with Rico and troll together!!

Well done Foyles, missed your post beforehand but a few more points on the board.
Wasn't DG in our team last year? Why not post your vitriol on your own teams thread if you're in one, we don't need your nonsense on here, thank you.

Sorry missed your pick Foyles but as stew says, valuable points so well done. Just ignore Bisto Boy stew and everyone. Despite the handicap of him trying to sabotage the teams efforts we won the compy.

Have gone EW on El Bello in 6.13 Leopardstown.
However it runs at least you won't be able to miss it as he's a striking nearly white grey also drawn on the wide outside. Has caught my eye on last 2 runs at the Curragh running on strongly over 7fs after being towards the back early on. This is a mark he's capable of winning from and usually groups his best runs together. All wins have come on AW from marks of 71,72,62,68 and 65, last 3 with a 5lb claimer on top. Has gone close on turf from 72 and 74 both with 5lb claimer, all over 7fs.
Not sure Hogans reasoning to ditch jockey who rode lto as would take 7lbs off here and he's on a no hoper. Perhaps the other trainer just got in first who knows, around 16/1-20/1 at the moment. As i said at the start was staying on very strongly last twice hope he can get 1m now he's older but hopeful of a place again.

A good race to pick a few to put in R/Fs and tricasts imo, obviously the 3 favs have good chances and personally would perm some of those with El Bello, Summer Snow and a wild outsider Heliogabalus, the latter 2 have decent 7lb claimers on top which could make a big difference in this apprentice race and pray.

Other Grey Summer Snow another 7fs horse wins it well, couldn't get 2nd for FC unfortunately. El Bello found the wide outside draw and 1m to much to overcome but was running on into about 7/8th i think. Thought Heliogabolus was going to get the F/C for me but weakened final furlong. No points from me though.

Good morning lads, only acey and NEC left to pick and it seems obvious again that the leaders are beyond catching for us so what Billposter has done makes sense, to try and get points and secure a mid table finish and avoid the wooden spoon. Very best of luck to all three of you, don't forget undecided is away until this evening so if you want to keep track it's down to you.

I will try and keep an eye on things and keep you in the picture when I can.
