Hi lads, struggling for a pick this week, not great timing I know.
Anyway less of the f-ing around ive took a look @ local Weth tomorrow. The 1250 is a 4 horse race and more process of elimination I have came up with MAGIC DANCER Its won a chase before on GS, it would need to be better than that to win this, but promising. The next race on its form line (most recent) is possibly better indication that this might go close, a good run 8L behind Minella Drama in a decent time at Uttox on GS who is now 149 rated, if he runs to 140 himself for this Weth race must be the one to beat? The Minella horse by the way finished within 10L of My Drogo at the back of last season, so theoretically ofc it doesnt work like this but this one is 18L worse than My Drogo . Hence a good bet.Infact I cant even claim it is a good bet as I havent seen the price! Thought it was best to try something at lower odds rather than anything extravagant to nudge us towards the final, GL all players tomorrow, and also to our opponents, I know you are reading this drivel . |

PS i hope there is no 3rd place playoff

Finally got one sorted for today, currently 6/1, 8 runners so hoping no non runners later
Schiehallion Munro – 2:00 Wetherby EW Good Luck all and well done to the points scorers who got us through to the semis |
By:
Firstly Impression in the 3.10 for me. Good luck everyone.
By:
Just spotted your Magic Dancer is nr.
By:
If you want to replace that nr you need to do it before 12.50, otherwise you get the fav same race.

Sorry all, made a decison to do all gambling off a PC (spending too many hours a day glaring at a phone if wasnt at PC on gambling related stuff that I didnt need to be) so could see what was going on but couldnt change NR, so undecided to use very little skill in the process of a winner, heres good aftertiming but would have quite fancied the fav I inherited to beat plodder Cornerstone Lad that is a fair horse but seems to be regressing.
GL today all, sorry opponents if you see this. |

Sorry undecided *

Very unlucky Onthehoy.
I've gone for STD's horse in the next at Chelters. Hopefully he can outstay them up the hill. |
By:
Well done Jinyx. I couldn't chip in unfortunately.
By:
Put the wrong STD up
![]() |
By:
Well played jinxy
![]() Another shocker selection personally Hopefully the luck changes soon |
By:
Nice one lads. We would have been unlucky losers if we didn't go through. OTH's selection would have won if it had stayed on his feet.
By:
nice one folks. One of those days where I picked 4 out they all won. The one I picked out was 7/4 at the time but 5/4 will do. Well done everyone. |
By:
I feel pretty grim advancing like that, do you think its fair game?
By:
As I said on our thread, don't worry about it, could have easily gone against you as the fav was a drifter and nearly swapped over with 2nd. We beat you on same rule in group stages, just how it goes.
Well played guys and best of luck in the final. |
By:
WD lads - good luck in the final
By:
Very well done to the team
Hopefully I can contribute in the final Very well done to the lads getting the team into the final you should proud of your efforts ![]() I thought it was going to be a loss though as they were unstoppable in the groups ![]() |
By:
Well done all in making the final
Hopefully we've got some big scores in us this week (or 6 small scores |

ItsMeSwaddle, there is not the slightest doubt that you won fairly, so there is no need for you to think otherwise. Because of the Betfair SP showing Cornerstone Lad as favourite, I was watching the race, not having any financial interest, cheering on Fransham and was somewhat surprised when I saw the SP. As anyone who has been involved in this game for any length of time, realise it is governed by small margins and perhaps if we had managed to win, you would be nursing grievances of your team's selection who fell at the last when in the lead. In last year's competition I remember in the last race my selection was given a dead-heat at Aintree because the light was not good enough when the general consensus was that it should have been placed 2nd. Swings and roundabouts. The best of luck in the final, then we can at least say that we were beaten by the winners.

Heres hoping for a good Final guys
If the past is anything to go by it will be a tight time Hers hoping its a fair time for all and bad luck doesnt have any part in it ![]() ![]() |
By:
Cheers to the lads (Stew Aqua,Sawyer & UD) And good luck to my team this week.

By:
I will go for my selection to put his latest poor (chase) effort well behind him on his return to hurdles today and, hopefully, put in a good effort at a decent price (8/1)
EW Reallyradical 12:20 Lingfield |
By:
Not looking good on the books for my selection, Reallyradical has drifted out to 45 (25/1 on sportsbook)with only 15mins to off!! unless of course it makes the frame for us
By:
Well, he ran as expected for a big drifter, under pressure with a circuit to go and probably pulled up (I didn’t watch the race to the end)
Good luck all for the remaining selections |

Lads struggled with no AW again this week
![]() Got some Dundalk tonight. With the state of the tie I will attempt to put something up that will draw us level or near level going into the final day. The last race at Dundalk is of horrendous quality. If the fav can produce the run it has the last twice it will be right in the shakeup (obvious right as its 7/4 fav ) Always seem to find 1 too good in these races lets hope for the best. GL tomorrow all, a good season. |
By:
You only play in the classy races, Swad!
GL man. |
By:
I realaise its his first run of the season but with the stable amongst the winners and the going on the good side I cant see past A Plus Tard in the Betfair Chase tomorrow. Helped myself to some of the 2.92 yesterday. Lets hope for a good day everyone

By:
How are we playing tomorrow ? Big prices EW or 5/1 shots straight win (or EW depending on how the table looks after tonight)
If it’s tight do we I try a smaller price fav? |
By:
I’ve stuck Buzz up in the 2:40
I was about to stick jinxes in but he beat me to the punch ![]() |
By:
Looks like we gotta try and pull summat from the fire. Would have done this ew but is only a fifth of the odds, so going all in on Silva Eclipse in the 12.40 Haydock, currently 9 on the exchange. I would have liked the ground a bit softer but should run it's race. Good luck all, it's been most enjoyable.
By:
Really sweet on one at lingers. Got on last night at an acceptable price, it probably won't help us now so I'll look for something at a bigger price.
GL lads |
By:
Just managed to log on for the first time in three bloody days! Missed a winner but what the hell, was thinking of putting one up in the 2.40 but see that SS already has one in that race so I'll look for something else, fingers crossed, good luck today everybody.
By:
Have put up Orbys Legend in the 2.25, I definitely wouldnt want to lay that one so have gone for a straight win at around the 4/1 mark, did think of going each way but what the hell, its the final.
By:
Gone for one at Wolves tonight. I'm hoping the first time cheek pieces might be enough to eke out a little more improvement from my selection. WD Sonny GL Jinx
By:
Nice one Jinx, looks like the GC winner to me.
By:
Well done guys
two Group Class selections |
By:
Commiserations guys but a valiant effort from the late starters which very nearly put you in front….

Unlucky lads.

Great Captains pick so nearly clinched it guys
certainly down to the wire well Played |
