Well done Chavman. It looks like I have
Joined a canny team |

By:
Chavman (also known as Chav, Chavmeister & Sir Chav) Chav is very much the Paolo Di Canio of the team and like the fiery Italian, Chav is capable of moments of pure brilliance…..selecting big priced winners comes so easy to the guy. But, Chav also wears his heart on his sleeve and this can lead to the issues with his temperament and in turn lead to run-ins with rule makers and opposing players alike. It will
be up to myself and the rest of the team to help Chav keep a lid on things. He can then channel his energies into what he excels at.....finding tidy priced winners for the team! I think this was and is a fair assessment of Chav. Very well done, my man! Outstanding work! You've certainly set a very high benchmark! Even GeorgeB might struggle to beat this one. ![]() |

One of your bullets hit the target yesterday, Swad. I hope you have a good few quid on.
![]() Sonny, you can go for Win/EW, its entirely up to you. Chav's cracking winner has allowed room to: "Express yourself It's one on one Express yourself It's one on one Express yourself You can't be wrong When something's good It's never gone" ![]() |
|

Btw, I'd like everyone to have one use of the wildcard. This week I'm going to nominate our boy Chav. I trust everyone is in agreement?

Sorry chaps, I didn't see UD post about Jinxy1 joining the team. Welcome Jinxy. I'll be looking for a 50/1 winner from you.

Cheers everyone, nice to be here. More known for trading strategies than picking outright winners but I'll do my best.
That's an awesome start with a 40/1 winner, well done that man. I hope to be of help to the team in the coming weeks. Jinxy. |

Upset the opposition….tick

I have come up with my first selection of the competition:
Was looking for a double figure EW selection, but this one is only about 7-8/1 so will go for the win 1:50 Newmarket Ummalnar (Win) |
|
By:
I put up Forbearance, went win and place, should have just piled in for the win. Hindsight is a great thing.
|
|
By:
Very well done Jinxy, always nice to strike with your first selection and this was the your first for the team too. No worries you put it up EW, it's all good. I hope you had plenty on the win for yourself

WD JINX SIR
Tbh I have struggled all week to fancy much. Using my selection up by tomorrow I will be going with Ustath in the 5:50 at Ripon, no point going EW Its down 1lb and has a claimer on (which isnt actually gaining us much when most of em claiming same) It should come out and race very prominent tomorrow, hopefully in an ideal world gets to the rail before Nearly a Gonna presuming thats where they want to be. Must have every chance. Absolutely no stats to back up my opinion but I wonder how prominent horses feature in appretice races compared to normal ones, can imagine its fairly decent. Gl anyone throwing a dart. |

By:
Interesting selection. If he can beat the other likely pace setter you've mentioned to the lead, he could take some pegging back. It could be a repeat result of when he met Hurtswood at the same course back in June. Hopefully this time Ustath finishes in front. I'm quite sweet on a few tomorrow and I'm still deliberating which one the pin comes down on!

By:
HallGreenSpy, that was selected by your opponents, Lucky Pins, so please choose another.

By:
Well done Jinxy, my debut selection wasn’t quite up to your standard, trailing in 12½ lengths 10th of 12 !!
|
|
By:
You will get 'em next time Hoy!
Hopefully HGS checks back in before 3pm. I've gone for Sandrine. I think this stiffer course will suit her much better than York did last time out. I got on at 11/2 yesterday but that price has long gone. |

Hope you got on early doors HGS. Cracking pick that one.

By:
Well done guys.
Glad HGS got that last winner, makes me feel a bit better about not taking mine EW! |
|
By:
Yeah, very UL with that one George. At least you've got the profit in the bank to soften things. Swad's has a decent chance in the lucky last too.
|
|
By:
Well done lads! Don't go getting complacent, I want the same again next week. Now get out of here and enjoy the rest of your weekend

Well done to the winners last week
I will get in early this week with my selection Lexington Warfare – 7:30 Newcastle (win) returned to form with a win last time out back on the Tapeta surface over 7f at Newcastle 2lbs rise for the win, up to 1m today, shouldn’t be far away and I will be hoying my wallet at this to be placed with a few bob on the win |
|
By:
Afters all, have gone for Glasstrees in the 5.30, on the drift but I have it down as a winner in waiting, fingers crossed.
