I have no rules in place for what you select but selecting horses that aren't likely to be odds on would please your captain. This new format requires & encourages you to look for horses at odds against. GL to you and the rest of the team. We still need 2 more players so I may have to go on a scouting trip. |

WP, I have put a last call out for the two remaining reserves.
If no response by the morning then we can put out a fresh call and hook in the first two that respond, Cleeve Hill Mob may need 1 too. |

Ok then Shrewdies, as a newcomer to this competition are there any tactics I should know about before jumping in with my first selection? i.e. is it best to get in early to put pressure on the opponents (if we get a winner or 2!) or maybe hang back till later in the week to see if we can stick with lower priced selections?
Or am I overthinking this and should I just post anything, anytime, any odds. I was going to hang back a few days before making my first selection, but sod’s law I have 2 selections from my notebook running today when I usually have only about 1 a month!! (I’ve put one up in the DIV. 1 naps comp already) |

without a win after 44 attempts! Has gone close a few times earlier this year, dropping down the handicap & I reckon 1st win is not far away I’ve decided not to make my first selection, think I will wait till end of week |

I've got no expectations of anyone, I know what its like the harder you try to find a winner. Tomorrow I had 2 potential bullets but leaving them alone, I am likely to play them place only on the day. They are in the "logical chance" catogery rather than the this horse is well in wun! STALLONE 217 HAM (serial loser) WINNETKA 345 LEIC (serial loser but game as an OX )Ty Undecided for the thread. More losers that winners I assure you, I didnt back it when it followed up either  |
