Sorry you feel this way Chav. It's just a bit of fun for me and I think everyone on the team should treat it this way. Plat gets to pick another so just make them pay by picking an even bigger priced winner, OK mate? Grin But even if he doesn't or we all pick 8 losers every week, nobody is letting anyone down. Just play for fun guys!

Aye ....Your a big part of the team Chavman.

Once the dust settles,I too hope you will reconsider, more fun with you on board.

Difficult decision to make,I,m sure there are plenty like me,that have learned something.

Hard lines Platinum, fine call, hope you made plenty on that one.

Correct decision now its been explained, back to finding those elusive winners.

Don't be silly chav we need you, I feel sorry for UD really as its a no win situation for him, if he voids it he gets grief from this team if he allows it the others get on his back

He did void others as well after they posted right on post time (Stridingedge I think) so its not on him he has put the rules in the threads we have just fallen foul of it this time

Don't pack it in chavman, we know the rule now on delayed races, let's hope we can keep the ball rolling again this week, good luck team.

Let's move on chaps. We know the rules and it was only a 15/8 winner....I'm just thankful it wasn't a 10/1 winner! Happy Get studying Plat and come up with another beauty for the team.

WP, like a lot of people I'm very happy with a 15/8 winner.

Good luck to anyone playing today.

Any winner is a good one in horse racing, plat Cool

But yeah I've always read the rule as the posted off time which in this case was 5:15 so need to get it in before then, UD needs that to run the comp smoothly I guess

Hopefully Chav cools off and comes back because the team would be extremely worse off without him, not just the winners but he knows his stuff with regards to horse racing in terms of advice etc

4.40 Yarmouth tomorrow I'm on the favourite Al Saariyah and will put it up later on the team comp thread. Three times raced, down the field in 6th in her maiden race saw the winner, fourth and fifth come out to win next time up, the winner going on to be 3rd in a Group 3. Next time up she finished second to a horse, Devilwala,  who next time out was then 2nd in a Group 2 just 2 lengths behind a horse rated 92. On her last race she was again beaten by a good one finishing second to Alcohol Free who then went on to finish second to Happy Romance (rated 97) in a Group 3 race at Salisbury. The 4.40 is a Nursery race and Al Saariyah gets in from what looks a very lenient mark of 78. Will do for me, took some prices tonight of 2.3 down to 2.24, only worry would be a drift.

Be Proud in the Ayr 5:00 looks decent, last race at 5f it couldn't find a clear run at all and only beat 3l, good form at Ayr over 6f which it seemed to always run well but never saw it out, so my thinking is dropped to 5 it'll always finish off well, all of Jim Goldies runners have been in good form lately and all been going close and placing so "stable form" is good. The ground is reading good at the moment so almost perfect racing ground can't complain. Is it better to put it EW selection if it goes bigger than 5s?

Just put up Dubai Icon 3.00 Ayr

10pts win

When: 17 Sep 20 10:57
Play it as you see fit SS, watched its race at Newcastle last time out and it would have been a lot closer with a clear run. Its been placed 9 times and only won twice and never won a Class 5 so maybe each way is the way to go if that's the way you are thinking, a quarter the odds in this handicap so 4/1 or better is fine. Good luck whatever you do.Happy

As suspected mine is now odds on so may have a rethink , I've got an average of 2.22 for myself so am quite happy for my own purpose, but may rethink for the comp, will see how the day goes.

9/2 currently, would be daft sticking it in and then it shortening into 7/2 with the EW part, we are top for this round still though so any type of EW or shorty is good, tiger.

Need to try and get the few points to extend the lead I guess
By:

That looks a very tight handicap SS so I wouldn't have any complaints if you decide to go EW in that one.

I'll hold fire just in case it shortens throughout the afternoon, no point if it comes in to 3/1 really

Best to keep it that way as I've put mine as a straight win as 4/1 is just silly EWing it personally, still got 5 left after this and some team members left to post

Tiger I didn’t post anything as i am a believer people should go with what they really fancy if they only have 1 go a week I shouldn’t try to put you off! but I really fancied Vedute in that race today (I double staked) and obvs I have come up short and your selection was the one to be one.
I priced the race up  5/4winner 5/2 mine 7/1 all the rest so that probs shows the value I thought I was getting.

WD for picking the winner anyway even if you didn’t stick it up mate
By:

When: 17 Sep 20 17:47
I toyed with sticking it up right until the off but as two other posters had put it up thought it best to wait for another one, it was my best bet of the week by the proverbial mile, whether I've been right or wrong...time will tell!

I'm not sure ill get a poke Sat so this is likely to be my selection tomorrow and its got a clutching at straws sort of feel about it and maybe ISNT helpful when we are already leading but I do fancy it:

FARASI LANE 305 NEWB - Marked this one as a potential lenient mark. Not seen very much of it but its last race at kempton for me it lacked urgency at the start and therefore gained a poor race position. Then imo margin beaten was deceptively high, eased down close home, then after the line it didnt appear too tired either...watch the replay, decide for yourself. I dont think im onto a golden nugget but certainly something to work with. Down 2lb and horses that beat it in this race have came out  and ran since and done ok off of their own marks proving that this race was pretty competitive form wise helps my cause...hopefully nearer the day it gets a low draw if it does choose Kempton AW again, tucked in near enough and gives its running.

Just as ive typed all that, its an each way price range (14/1) with 7 runners...ugh I dont know...could always see what Sat brings.

One thing for sure if 6 or 7 do remain and books are offering 3 TBP terms ill be shovelling.

Just a quick update, draw no issue for obvs reasons, slow away at Newbury often not a bad thing, a fair course.
