Aye .....The problem playing in the big handicaps at weekends, is the over-round.
Pretty much assured you will be getting bottom dollar,especially if your horse wins/places. Playing on here is a different ball game,that comes with territory for all of us. Only one race appealed at Donny all week,not that keen on the flat here,but like the National Hunt meetings. There could be another cack-handed one out on saturday,mumblings of a madman  |

Really like One Ruler today. I was impressed with how he won at Sandown and it looked to me as if he won with plenty in hand in what could turn out to be a very hot maiden. Managed to get most of my stake on at 11/4 & 5/2 yesterday but he will go off plenty short enough for comp purposes.

Has top weight for a reason,quickest ground he has encountered so far,recently gelded,gets the visor for 2nd time today.Travelled really well at windsor up to the 2f pole,in first time visor. Galloping straight track here might just suit him,if he settles early,he can outrun his current odds. Elsewhere like A Momentofmadness and Wentworth Falls in the portland,Venturous was a possible at chester,will need luck in running from stall 1,Go Bob Go at lingfield is a big price,no surprise if he leaves his previous form well behind. GL Everyone playing. |
