I am going for 10 points win on Breanski in the 4.15 at Doncaster. Trainer has just sprung into form, it's a new trip but I'm prepared to take the risk.
By:
Good luck qqking, we need a boost.
By:
A good enough effort there qqking but not quite. A pity you hadn't chosen either of your 2 winners of the previous 2 races.
By:
Yes, but hindsight would make it too easy : )

The good news is I haven't put any of my long list of losers up for the team this week
![]() The bad news is I have to put one up tomorrow ![]() It will be A Momentofmadness in the Portland, haven't made up my mind win or ew yet. |
By:
The good news is....all my other main bets this weeks ran even worse than Spanish Kiss!
...although, on reflection, that was certainly not good news for my betfair account! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I was going for 10pts win on Chindit 1.50 Doncaster but 2 other teams have picked it so doesnt help us much at the price
So going for Breathtaking Look 5pts EW 3.00 Doncaster and i hope Andrea Atzeni gives her a better ride than he did in the Diamond Jubilee at Ascot |
By:
Well there you go
By:
What are you going for AQ
By:
I have gone for Northern Society in the 4.35 at Musselburgh. Why, you may well ask. Current rating 50, last winning mark 57. In a 5f sprint which I don't really like. Career record 2 wins from 30. Have been considering this one most weeks of this competition and almost picked it on Sunday when 3rd at 11/1. 5lb better off with the winner of Sunday's race, hopefully today is his day, but gone EW to hopefully get some points.
By:
Well that was dreadful perhaps the horse doesnt go for the jockey that does happen, will be interesting if my 1st pick Chindit would of made a difference to our overall position
By:
It's still only half time at the end of today, plenty of time to make up the ground!
By:
unlucky there captain...with a clear run a furlong and a half out i reckon that would've won!
![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
Yes indeed, luck isn't going our way at the moment. Certainly won't be getting the ride of the season for that effort! Surely there is a win in the horse in the near future.

I am impressed at everybody's patience this week with no-one yet having played, so unless anyone plays later today we will have all 8 to play between Friday and Saturday. Surely we could manage the winners of the Ayr gold, silver and bronze cups between us, but I suppose that would considered to be showing off, so some winners of some smaller field races will do instead. At the moment I am thinking between 2 tomorrow and 2 on Saturday but think I might be tempted to go for a big priced one tomorrow. Good luck everybody and get studying
By:
Looking at 3 at Newton Abbot on Saturday
By:
I am going for a reasonably short priced one in the 2.45 at Ayr tomorrow, 10 points win on Nomadic Empire
By:
Good luck qqking, and all of us over the next couple of crucial days

I fancy
Mankayan @ 9/2 in the competitive 9 runner hndcp 14.30 Newbury and Seaport @ 9/1 (9 runner hndcp, a couple of them with little chance) in the 19.15 Kempton tomorrow. Very tempted by the second one e/w but I will have a look at Saturdays declarations and the Team Tipsters standings beforehand. Mad, ![]() ![]() . |

By:
Changed my mind....will look for something tomorrow.

First one is a n/r and the second has drifted like a barge so glad i didn't put that one up lads!
By:
No need to be too adventurous tomorrow caoptain?
Most teams have had a bad week so haven't got a way from us. I'm gonna run with Fox Vardy 5.05 Newbury 10pts win @ 2/1'ish. Back down 2f in trip, small field, worthy favourite. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Morning all.
Think there is some value on here at the mo. 5.15 Wolves: BRUNELS BOY. 10 points WIN. Had a few pennies matched at 11 on here,5/1 with the bookies,R'Post sp 7/2 2nd fav. Ran well last time out, slow away, not given a hard ride, finished 2nd,staying on. Up in trip today, has shown some ability in previous runs. A`W debut today, handy mark £3 lower than turf,Mr Fallon first time on board. G/L today 's."if you~dig" ![]() |

Morning gents
I am going to put up Jack Snipe in the 5.20 at NA. In both his starts this season I thought Brian Carver made far too much use of him. At Uttox he simply went too fast and last time rode him quite aggressively during the race when the lead was being contested and kicked him on a bit earlier than I had wanted; obviously my screaming couldn't be heard 120 miles away, although my neighbours know what he should have done!! Hoping that a professional might help today, although I would have preferred Cobden to Skelton as the chosen Harry. I will put it up now so as not to miss the 3pm deadline - again. good luck today |

I think I owe all my team members an apology. In my post on Thursday I said that I was thinking about a big priced one on Friday. For those who look at the nap competitions you will see that the one I was considering was Bringitonboris who of course won at 20/1. However my thoughts yesterday were that it would be nice to get the winner of the Ayr Gold Cup and this together with my normal strategy of waiting until Saturday meant that I did not pick it in this competition. I suppose that I will now stick with my decision to select in the Ayr Gold Cup and will go for Barbill and at about 20/1 will go E.W. I think in the future I will disregard my Saturday fixation.

By:
The 3 i'm looking at are at Newton Abbot 3.00 Nachi Falls 5-1,4.10 My Lady Grey 9-4,4.45 Soldier Of Love 11-4
I can make cases for all 3 and excuses for all 3 but i'm going for My Lady Grey its a conditional jockeys race and Harry Kimber takes off 8lb |
By:
Aquarius, well done with your naps winner, very hard to catch those big ones for the team, or in my case any ones for that matter it seems
![]() qqking, good 2nd yesterday but again we have nothing to show for it, our luck will change! I will post mine just before cut-off. |
By:
Well done with your nap yesterday AQ. Good luck again with today's.

Colonel Whitehead - 3.15 Newm - Win
Last to post, first home? ![]() |

Well done, undecided; its good for us to get off the mark and we have between 5.00 and 6.00 to increase our total further
By:
Well done cap'n
By:
well done lockup.
By:
Well done lockup, looks like i picked the wrong one
By:
Well done everybody snatching 6th place at the end. Things haven't been falling for us yet, but I am sure we will get a win before the end of the competition
By:
We have scraped ourselves off the bottom but we will be last overall, only way is up

By:
Phew nice to finally get off the mark it was a tough week with a lot of big priced ones at Ayr hopefully onwards and upwards.
By:
Right lads...no waiting about for me.
Gone for Verify - 3.30 Chelmsford today - 10pts win. Global Art doesn't seem to be the horse it was since lockdown so don't fancy that despite it dropping 7lb since it's good March run. Not sure what to make of Simcock's horse (El Salvaje) but Verify has two our of two good runs on the AW and will stay the trip strongly so will do for me. Onwards and (surely) upwards for the Demons!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
Good luck with that one madhatter, it is certainly being backed
By:
Yeah...was 5.3 this morning, started 3.69...ran ****!

Typical! Yesterday's nap lost, todays won @ 7/2 (and my next best also won @ 11/4).
However, I did fancy yesterdays more than todays.... Sorry boys. |
