aye ////Shane - traceability over 12 month period would be nigh impossible and thats before you decide when the 12 month period starts - as players come and go through the year.

Tis a non starter methinks.

Above all else I want something simple to apply, not just for myself but for the other settlers too.

What`s fair???? Who knows as we are all different, well different circumstances anyway Grin

I could sit and think about this for a year, taking everyone`s views onboard. There is no solution that would please everyone as you all know.

got to say I really really dont like LRF cap ... I suggest a simple poll of napsters - should we continue with LRF or scrap it?

Ok Reg, lets roll with that. Would you be kind enough to start a thread.

I`ve got to nip out now. Taking Mutley for a spin.

What's the target - simple majority, majority of all napsters, 70% ... wot think?
By:

and the question ...

Which is your preferred choice:

- Keep the Last Race Favourite option for non-posters or ...

- Scrap it

That do it?
By:
Shanelee1966

Reg, yes, the alternative is to scrap it altogether. We arrived at this point to simplify things so I don`t want to add conditions ie but you can still do this that or the other if you notify the settler, we`ll just end up back where we started.

well we can have a look at what happens if people vote to scrap it later ... just thought we should get opinion on the core issue sorted first. not much point in discussing anything if people are happy the way things are

Wot u think about voting level?

Also any abstentions could count as a vote to maintain the status quo on the grounds that anybody who doesn't like the LRF should  be prepared to take the opportunity of voting it out.

Sorry - meant to say simple majority for me.

Of all napster that is

I`d say at least half of the competing napsters would have to vote for change. How many do we have? 120?

Best suggestion so far is no minus points for a loser or non runner or for not selecting, then it doesn't matter if you can't be bothered to post or are on holiday.Might make it interesting for relegation purposes Laugh but will not affect everyone that posts everyday, Sundays can be compulsory then as well. Makes sense to me anyway Wink

Do they get a proxy vote ? Laugh

Are you looking to bring this in with AW Stu ?
By:

When: 28 Feb 14 16:02
that;s fine then - simple maj of ALL napsters, one vote per ID

I would suggest we get the 'excitement' of the end of the month out of the way before actually going ahead?
By:

When: 28 Feb 14 16:16
I'm thinking about it madhatters, saves having to wait for the LRF's, but then I don't have the problem with relegation.

Looks murky waters to vote for "scrap it" without knowing what alternative you may end up voting for
Turkeys for xmas Grin
Scotland for the jocks - don't tell them no oil tho Grin

The idea that Sir Rem put up that you highlighted would make it interesting
No loss for anything

no, we are simply gauging opinion on the LRF - if sufficient people say they don't like it we then examine alternatives
By:
bettysboy
When: 28 Feb 14 17:25
if we gonna put it to vote then I suggest its is very simple:

keep LRF or no post is loser (can use someone else on your behalf)

also 70% in favour of change or stay s it is is
By:
look - it's snowing
When: 28 Feb 14 18:08
I vote no post is loser...............

As mentioned above, let`s get the final day out of the way and then look at the voting. If a change is voted for it can come into effect on April 1st.

Capping a fav at 2/1 is a load of b0ll0x imo as a majority of favs are under that anyway.. scrap the daft f00kin rule completely full stop!

And for those that say they can't post etc how come they can post on the last day of the month easily enough?
By:
madhatter
When: 28 Feb 14 21:21
I don't agree with LRF but would rather have that than lose a point when i dont post because I am on holiday/business. To have to ask someone I dont know to post for me to avoid this deduction is laughable...and what happens if it is in his interest to pick me a loser?

No LRF and 30 free days per annum is the way forward
